I really liked this movie. It makes me mad that it took Disney this long to make an African American princess. And when they finally did, she's the one who has to kiss a slimy amphibian, and theres a lot of voodoo and black magic in this movie, which is another thing I don't like. But besides those two things, 5 thumbs up from me!

@place2bee I can see you point with the voodoo and black magic being insulting, but when you think about it, it is one of the things New Orleans is known for the best, and it gave Facilier a great mystery about him, I'm still wondering how he got his friends on the other side, and not all of it is bad, I mean look at Mama Odie, she was my favorite character. I think the magic gave it that little extra spice and in the end it is a good movie with good values.

I don't like the ending song of this movie

it takes away the Disney authenticness (if that's a word) how many Dinsey movies end with a pop/ rap singer singing?? It's always the main theme that is played throughout the movie (this is something many people do not notice or think about) that's one of the things that make Disney.

This movie had some flaws (including this one) but all in all it was a GREAT film and I highly recommend it.

I laughed, cried, laughed again... felt SO many emotions during this movie. As did everyone else in the theature. Not that many movies can do that.
