  • excelent video Leila!! this kind of cases are all over the whole world, abuse in consumerism form! we can all put an end to this with this activism!!

  • Ah, very good point. No, do not limit deceptive advertising! An equal money system must BAN all advertising. Only information delivery and third party unbiased consumer reporting should deliver the information of goods and services under the equal money system! Also, lobbying, campaigns, attempts to influence the masses and conflicts of interest must be forbidden. -very good point you raise-

  • Fraud is a strong legal term which should be determined in the courts. The box states in ounces what you are purchasing not the volume.

So what is disappointed in the exchange is the consumer's expectation of the box being "filled" when that is not what the product purports to be.

Either way your point is well taken but it is not fraud in the legal term.

  • @rodanosamehr What she is stating is that corporations are misleading which is generally fraud. I really don't understand why anyone would stand up for corporations when we are being screwed more and more lately. If you really had a clue what these corporation are doing to the consumers of the world you would not be so quick to defend them cause they manipulate laws, ship jobs to third world countries. I could write books on this but don't have the time nor energy. repent for time is short!

  • I agree thank you for posting this many cool points here

  • Cool points Leila - thanks!

  • every bag of chips ive ever eaten was more bag than chips. always felt cheated. its fucked cause i learned to just accept the small amount of chips in the big ass bag. accept the rip off. to expect it even. fuck that! thats how we get set in the ways of accepting and allowing ignorant shit in general.

  • haha....yup all package junk food comes in such ways.

  • And down the rabbit hole we go...Thank you for sharing your wisdom!

  • I always check the kilo prize of a product because the cheapest one might not be the cheapest in fact, as it depends on the weight. - So I look at the little tiny prize at the bottom that shows the kilo prize when I compare two of the same products prize. Yeah and the chips bags and other bags are vacuum packed to make it look bigger: So I squeeze it together to feel the actual content.

  • Cool example of the dishonesty in marketing .

  • Definitely - that's such a common thing within EVERYTHING I got scammed today twice with the pricing of products and actual amount of it being sold - all leading to people just craving for profit making at the cost of having to cheat lie and steal from the consumer - and it is food I'm talking about as well.

That box is so tricky - best to buy the turquoise color ones, you can actually feel the totality of the cookies in the packaging because there's no box to hide the trick. Thanks Leila

  • Brilliant work, yes there so many things out there being sold in a misleadng way like frozen products which a fear quantity of the product being ice to increase volume. Fast food outlets putting too much ice in soft drink to reduce the use of the more expensive syrup and soda. buying loose items seem to me a better way to go at organic grocery outlets they are better for you and at the same time they are more grass roots organizations. thanks for the vid.

  • Scientifically crafted cons! Air (padding) is a great deceiver for profit maximization. Let’s hope we don’t get to a day when the product price has gone up 1000% and there is only one 1 chip in the bag of air :)

EQUAL MONEY - STOP THE NEED OF GREED!

    Thank you Leila.

  • Excellent examples of consumer fraud. thanks Leila

  • products labled like that are targeted at ppl with n.p.d. ppl who think they are special and deserve beter, gourmet, primium, etc.

  • Ah cool- lift the veil on Consumerism!

  • Cool, thanks for sharing this - its like when i go to most fast food places, the pictures on the order menu always looks big and well placed, which effectively attracts people to want to consume it. But when i get the result after ordering, its is a small and untidy result. This point of mis representing a product could be corrected in an equal money system.

  • cool point

  • cool example. What I see is that in the pictures on packeges the product always looks nicer, bigger, richer, etc, than the real thing. In the Equal Money System we can get real about the products we sell and buy.

  • The other side is that we have to consider why we were attracted to the box, the nice cup of ice cream or the bag of chips, in the first place. The first words that come up are greed and self interest. So it would be nice within an Equal Money System to make people aware why the long for something, why they react. Maybe a SRA course?

  • what a rip off!! lol.

  • Cool would be also to taste the food product before buying it.

  • Thanks

This is the methodology to give the illusion of more / greater than what is REAL!

    Profit = MORE MONEY
