@sigma6PinFloyd no it isnt......do you really could imagine thar Sir Gilmour would use playback? He's just using the same Overdrive/Distortion effest as with his strat !

@myownego you just doesnt know what a pedal is about, and less guitar knowledge... electroacoustic guitar with pedal sounds like hell... gilmour is god of guitar no doubt of it.

@Alejiisimo2 I have to admit that I do not know much about the guitar or playing the guitar. Thats why I was confused about the electric sounds. I apologize if I was wrong. I never ment to insult Gilmour though. I myself am a fan and I love his music

No it isn't. You not have to play the e-guitar to get this "overdrive" sound. Your're right, there's really noone who is playing the e guitar. But this sound is made with an effect ;) You put it between your Guitar and your amp (he's using an acoustic amp) , put the effect on and you got it. I know this because I'm playing the guitar too for a long time ;)

There are no words to describe how much this song moves me, it is so spiritual and healing. It makes me think about my life the good and the bad and still motivates me to work for a better future. It's uplifting! God bless David may he live many , many more years. The man has done so much to save my sanity!

i cried when i watched this.. i listen to pink floyd around 5 hours a day. this makes 85% of the time i listen to music in total.

I have to agree it is a very beautiful song simply, i have to say davids guitar pieces are all part and parcell of what makes this song fit together passionate Strumming climax then all out orgasmic Overdrive Bliss.

That sums it up i hope.
