@mern9 I think so... Bruce Hornsby...Don Henley... The Eagles etc. I think the music brought me close to my dad. Now years later I'm hearing the same songs...just brings me back!!!!!
Vc é simplesmente ótimo no que se propõe a fazer! Sinto falta de canções como as suas hoje em dia! Essa em especial, todos tem uma história pra lembrar e relacionar. Você é o cara!
@jwk290 It sure is and I cant put my finger on why, its the piano note structure or his voice combined... I have tried to figure this out for years. Very powerful song. Very sorry for your loss.
Heard this song on the radio in 2004 a month after a girlfriend of three years in highschool broke up with me because we were going to different colleges across the country. Made me tear up. Could never find this song, until years later I heard "That's just the way it is" and noticed a similar voice, and googled it. Even at 28, it still sends the same emotion I felt 10 years ago in the car. Thanks for the memories.
I loved a legally blind woman, with a bad leg, with all my heart one time. I figured out how she could use a rifle scope to see and I rubbed her bad leg for hours until she could run again, and then she saw some where to go and ran away.I still miss her and the song almost makes me cry tears, what a talent this band has. I like to hear it when I am sad and miss her.
I love the music by Bruce Hornsby-My parents played the heck out of it when i was growing up,was some of there fav songs, and I am 31 yrs old now,and I find that the songs they would play by him,r some of my favs as well:)
Bruce As the time rolls on! I forgot how dam good and multi -talented you truly are! You have proven your place in American Music history along with your inspiring & timeless collaborations with Bonnie Raitt , Don Henley & all the others!
i remember listening to this song and all other easy listening sonds of the 80's in the warm autumn air up at my property in michigan. It takes me back to my childhood and the warm feeling i had at peace witheverything

Every time I hear this song it takes me back to the old college days at I.U.. Met a great chic from Dallas. We were inseparable . Things went real wrong and she left school. This song makes me think of her every time I hear it. Miss you AMY!
This was the first Bruce Hornsby hit I heard, and have been hooked ever since. And along with Thunderlips, my wife would never understand. Thanks for the memory !
wow! I love this song, sure takes me back to memories of jammin to this and his other song the way it is, playing air drums and getting lost in the music on my boom box. what a beautiful and cool classic tune!
Estimated friend, if you want to listen again this song and an endless number of successes of the love I suggest you to visit Radio MUSICA PARA MIMOS - looks for his direction URL in Google ( search Musica para Mimos in Google)-. best romantic music of all the times in Internet, is great, is very good ...!!!
this man did not get enough credit for his talent, to appreciate it, know he was at the concert in DC with the grateful dead as Jerry's main keyboardist and bob weir by his side. He deserves a lot of credit.
This is definitely one of my favorites. I call all of his music "feel good music." I'm calm and I always have my center when I listen to his music, especially this one and "Every Little Kiss." Heard him in concert at the Jazz Festival in 1987. To this day, his music never tires.
goddam i fuking hate people who dont love a song and then respond to it... wtf you doing here if u dont like it uhh?! you fuking shit fuck, this is REAL music not like most of todays music
Love this guy! Always loved hearing Bruce play with the Grateful Dead. Working as a stagehand, I had the pleasure of seeing him at a private executive party for BMG Records at the Improve in Tempe, AZ late 90's. Real intimate venue,me at center balcony in a tiedyed t-shirt rockin out, surrounded by all these uptight fancy dressed up folks mingling about. Having played many shows with the Dead, he really seemed to appreciate this Deadheads energy. One of the best gigs I ever did.
it seems like he's concentrating really hard on the solo to make it more technical. when you see him play today he really concentrates more on directing the band. both amazing.
I got back in to Phx after a friends wedding in Toronto and really didin't want my weekend to end. I saw Bruce was in town palying at the Mesa Amphitheatre. It was sold out but I really wanted to see him so I stood out in front begging for a scalped ticket. I got in and made me way to the front and what an incredible evening. He played everything on his 2 albums and for encores did Leon Russell tunes. Bruce is one of a kind.
