@Gin, So far only the beta version of the newset mobile flash has been released, i highly doubt microsoft will put any beta software in the device, but it will release 1 or second quarter of 2010. But again they could select beta testers o.0
I think Microsoft is simply trying to encourage people to keep the earplugs in their ear instead of playing aloud. But you can connect the Zune to a television set or your vehicle. So it balances out.
i have the iphone and itouch and zune. pretty much the microsoft company completly revised the zune image. before i would have said this was shity but i used my friends zune and now i have one. i dont even use my itouch anymore. thinking about selling it...

MS simply has no clue how to make a quality product. They are so far behind making "media players" at this point they just look silly.

i have been going back and fourth on which to get the zune or the touch. and i love radio, and zune has that. but cant you get radio on the internet. so i think the i touch wins the battle. yes the docking station is wa cool so you can hook up to the tv. i had that feature on my creative zen. but with the app store .2in bigger and better keyboard et up the i touch wins

My biggest turn-off from the Zune HD right now is the fact that the screen is somewhat small. I'd like the screen to be about as big as that of the iPod Touch. Also, it's a bummer that the AV pack costs $80, but at least it's an option, as opposed to the iPod Touch.

It might not seem that way on paper, but holding one up against the iPod Touch (or just by itself) makes it feel like a noticeably smaller device. That's what most people who have seen it have been saying. Plus, even in comparison videos, the screen does look smaller. I'd want something at least as big as the iPod Touch.

@Oliver3038 Yeah for those who aren't that computer savvy should know limewire includes viruses and malware on install. And also it downloads some files without your consent. For instance 2 years ago I had over 100 pornographys downloaded in my Limewire that I never downloaded. I also found some as they where getting downloaded. It's quite weird but go for frostwire.

I like a clean interface. In the same way I don't like my desktop covered with icons, I don't care for it on my player either. Pages of icons is so much clutter to me. I like neatness and the Zune HD is neat like that. Games are for children so I'll get an app or two when MS gets em ready.

It is much easier than itunes at least i think so anyway.Just select your music folder and pick eaither sync all music or let me select. If you select Sync all music then everytime you add a new song to your music folder it will automaticly add the music to the Zune software and as soon as you plug in your zune it will automaticly add the new song to your zune.You can also set indivisual songs to Never Sync to Zune.But you'll still be able to listen to those songs on the zune software.
im sure the 2nd generation HD (if they have one) will support more memory for roughly same price. ofcourse this is all assumning the HD sells really good

The apps will be pretty much the same types you've seen already. That only makes sense. I don't know what their pricing model will be. Too early to know.

You get unlimited songs per month as many as you want, and at the end of the month you get to keep 10 songs you choose forever.

Zune HD will not have a camera, but the 3rd gen ipod touch was confirmed to have a camera by "trusted sources," it turned out not having one.

do u think there will be free apps like the ipod? and will u be able to add music thats not purchased from the zune marketplace as easily as u can with itunes? cause if its not then its not as good.

It is much easier than itunes at least i think so anyway.Just select your music folder and pick eaither sync all music or let me select. If you select Sync all music then everytime you add a new song to your music folder it will automaticly add the music to the Zune software and as soon as you plug in your zune it will automaticly add the new song to your zune.You can also set indivisual songs to Never Sync to Zune.But you'll still be able to listen to those songs on the zune software.

im sure the 2nd generation HD (if they have one) will support more memory for roughly same price. ofcourse this is all assumning the HD sells really good

no such details have been given yet, but im guessing basic apps like twitter,facebook, games..... and the list goes on and also there will be user developed apps.

The apps will be pretty much the same types you've seen already. That only makes sense. I don't know what their pricing model will be. Too early to know.
