i'm 18 and i start bjj on tuesday. i want to do so some bjj and wrestling for about 2 years and then some boxing and muay thai for another 2 years. if i train hard enough in those arts, i plan on doing some mma training for 2 years. after 6 years i will be about 24 and then i will take my shot at some amateur fights for 2 years and see how that goes. if im succesful i want to try to fight in a pro league like strikeforce or something.
i know this guy personally..very nice guy very humble, he never told me he was on Affliction until some other guy told me..he is a very humble guy, i asked him if he wants to compete in UFC and he told me that the UFC may not want him right now since he's on Affliction LOL. He also has a fight i think next week in Canada..He was also there when i got Bronze at the HGC 2009. very very nice guy.
Why he hasn't been on TUF yet is beyond me. Awesome guy, very likable, and would wreck everybody else on the show. Dude is the best trainer I have ever had!
Pat is stoked for his fight coming up. I have been saying for a while that he is good enought to face top competition in top leveled organizations. I am so happy he is now getting his chance to show the world what he is capable of. This dude is the real deal!
dude its never too late, some guys usually start at 20...that was way back, these days allot of young guys are starting...i started at 18, just like 5-6months ago its awsome, im probably gonna be doing some amature fights maybe nxt summer or earlier
