lol Canadian? Being Canadian myself I wouldn't say that at all. I think it is pretty ordinary. There are good and bad cosplays, same as everywhere. I think Russian are exceptionally good though. Each time I see a really nice costume the person is from Russia.

And I don't think it is racism. There are countries that obviously are better at this than others, like in everything. For cosplay though I think it's all about the general mentality.

i think the overall outcome of a cosplay to me is based on their facial expression and the hair.

with teh hair people try to go so vibrant. no. try natural colors please.

and facial expressions, try not to smile so cheesy. it makes the character not loook liek the character sometimes. :P

I think Japanese people know where to get the wigs and how to style them perfectly... Im just saying if you look the wigs are well made and the real hair is styled extremely well... if you look at some american cosplays you can tell the wigs have been sloppily put together last minute but some people do keep the wigs together well... now im just confuzing myself...
