  • puzzzzzzzz.....then it flies away

  • Haha, does a face plant before taking off!

  • jojojojojojoojojojojojojojojojoojojojojojo

  • my god thats fast!!! lol for a second, it was motionless wobbling on your hand and the next second, *BRRRUUZZZZ* that thing swooped up in a single frame!

  • OMG keep pausing 0:23 and 0:24 , the bird disappears in 1 frame

    holy crap it's fast

  • One time I saw a small bird hit the window at my house and it just sat there where it landed so I picked it up and held it in the palm of my hand just like you did and eventually it flew away.

I called the vet and they said that was the best thing to do, as the warmth from your hand is enough to get them feeling good again!

  • that bird uses a UFO engine lol

  • Bless be your hands

    Pios

  • more like a feathered bug

  • WOW ! what a deadish bird and after that fast start ? WTF ! :D

  • the colibris are just a wonder of nature

  • I thought to myself "rescue failed" and ZOOM... off he went

  • Da ones I saved are here now sleepin but they are much more smaller they are so cute hopefully they'll make it until tomorrow when i call animal control, I dont want them to die. Maybe ill put up the video of them as a video response

  • BRRUUUUMMMM....

  • Thank you very much.

    I made it my favorite.

  • nice channel about the hummingbirds

  • WOW,, AMAZING

  • waw quede maravillada, es increíble como agarra al colibrí y no se espanta, son preciosos y que buen vídeo, pocas son las personas que logran agarrar a un colibrí, que suerte.....GENIAL son increíbles, no hay mas palabras para describirlos....

  • Wow, that is so cute, I never seen one in America but I remember in the Dominican Republic before I entered Kindergarten I used to go there all the time and I used to find them in our plot of land, not anymore, it seem that they are in critical danger or downright extinct..

  • ZUMMMM! ^^

  • he was like "WHAT! your letting me go? PEACE!" lol

  • at the beginning it looks like a mini sword fish ... ^^^ CUUUUUUUTE

  • damn that's fast! :P

  • wow thats small , lol a hornet bee thingy is bigger than that proberly

  • hummingbirds cant stand up on flat surfaces, that is why it was on its side. Whenever you see one, it is always perched on an edge.

  • zal

  • i thought it was dead at first!

  • @freakymovielover

Same here! I was getting a bit worried that this was just some sick twisted guy holding a dead hummingbird. Glad to know that's not the case.

  • @freakymovielover It looks dead because they cannot walk with their feet. They only use their feet to stand on small branches, etc. Even if they want to move 1 inch down a branch they have to fly. :)

  • It made a strange sound when taking off.

  • @Katana58 That's the sound of the wings of hummingbirds. The rotational speed is extraordinarily fast; hence the whoosh sound - you'd might mistake it for an insect flying close to your ear!

  • why is this marked as spam? Sry but I can't help you!

  • Well you can wait some weeks and keep it until it eventually grows its feathers back (it happened to my parrot) and take her out in the sun not too much, but enough so she can some fresh air. Hope this helps!

  • and away =)

  • maşallah

  • amazing.

  • very nice

  • wow too fast!

  • Precious!^.^

  • wow thats a small bird

  • Oh my god! My mother and I would give anything to have the chance of holding a colibri bird. You are very fortunate indeed. I don't know where you live, but: are colibri birds common over there? Oh my good!!! What a magic moment. Thanks for sharing and apologizes for my poor English. Kind regards from Spain.

  • The only bird that can fly backwards.

  • i have touched one too.. i was in school when one got in and crashed with the window! I just ran there and took it in my hand and then let it free.. I really was lucky to have one in my hand.. it was really a magical moment and very beautiful!! its something that doesn´t happens to everyone haha, i loved it!!! ^^

  • Try a red large blooming flower or large clematis with a plate filled with sugary water. Then hummmmmmmmm.... :)

  • That's amazing that you got the chance to hold a humming bird. The poor thing looked dead at first, I was really relieved to see it fly away. Great video!

  • It was a miracle! The day before, I was flying to NY and while almost getting readuy for landing we were told we have to return home... So sad... but next morning I rescued a minuscule "frequent flyer." Thank You.

  • haha windows sound humming bird XD. cute

  • im thinking about taming 1 so wen it comes back after the flight south itll come back to me

  • Search for a video called OZZY STUNT!!! is a wonder

  • I am glad you rescued this bird and let him/her go!

  • In the hummingbird world they don't have "her/him/it" (she told me).

  • @vandergraaf1

like during the Rainbow years ? one for all and all for one ( sorry, that was Dumas .. )? What a nice thing for you to have had the chance to rescue that creature and to film it..

  • @Astrid270718 It is a female humming bird...the females are white under the throat while the male has color under his...Hope this helps :-)

  • yo ppls my dad filmed tht but i wasnt there he was lucky:( but he told me all about it it

  • Wow - i would love to touch one. The are amazing and i just love them. Thanks for the video.

  • You could not tell you're holding it! It's lighter than air or a poetry rhyme. I still can't believe it! Thank you for your post.

  • AWW did it hit a window and stun its self??

  • lol same here

  • At first I thought the hummingbird was dead until it flew away.

  • I think it too.
