Just saw this last night on Channel Nine. The were showing the very best of the Paul Hogan show and this brought back a lot of great memories from one of the finest comedians ever.
@ZoidsFanatic i saw this show for the 1st time that same night as im only 17...couldnt beleive how consistently funny and clever everything ones. Not some show where theres one or two funny parts...THE WHOLE SHOW was funny
Back in the early 80's the Paul Hogan Show was shown on WWOR TV-9 in New York City..It is the funniest show I've ever seen since Benny Hill..Personally It was funnier than Benny Hill,I think!!!
Also missing where he's with his crippled mother, who miraculously get's up saying "I'm standing!", to which he replies "Yeah, on my foot fatso" before shooting her ;)
I'd been looking for this for a long time. As a kid my Dad recorded it by chance on Channel 9 (L.A.) and we watched it so many times. This video is not listed under "Paul Hogan" so it was hard to find. There is a bit missing from it - I clearly recall the campfire scene when he drinks the coffee - the fire was too hot to lite his cigar so he stuck the bearded guy's face in it and then lit the cigar in his beard - now THAT was funny! Way happy to find it.
Epic stuff, nothing like it!

Thats amazing ! Watching this made me realise, that, in a certain light, Paul Hogan, does look like Barry Humphries !
Wow !
What ever happened to Hogan, anyway ?

The best part - by far - is where he gets rid of nauseating Julie Andrews from the
sickly 'Sound of Music'.
