Never use a cotton scarf it does not allow your hair to breathe. Other than that great video!

FYI cotton doesnt allow your hair to breathe it actually suffocates your hair and scalp. cotton strips your hair of oil making your hair very dry and dry hair breaks off. satin scarfs allows your hair to breathe and it retains moisture to your hair which promotes growth. cotton scarfs should not be reccomended to anyone.

i like the tutorial!! only thing is, you're supposed to use a satin scarf because it is soft and allows your hair to slide. Cotton rubbing against your strands can actually speed up breakage

However, now that summer is here I am trying to wear my hair curly morE but I can't seem to get it to wrap up in a little old head scarf when it's big and curly and feel like just sleeping with it out will damage it :/ help!

Okay so my hair is silky like yours (I am mixed also). The thing is my hair is a little above my elbows and I have the WORST time trying this... I used like 10 clips and couldn't get the ones on my crown out without making the scarf fall off. Feels very weird to sleep in them.
