  • Have you modified the pedal placement at all? I just picked up a 997S and am having the hardest time heel-toeing in it. The accelerator pedal is much lower than on cars I've owned previously, making it a difficult stretch/contortion to get my heel far enough down to blip the throttle. Suggestions?

  • @marcus0277 That car isnt a standard 997. That car is a tuned up and stripped out racecar. They position the brake pedal and accelerator pedal in these cars so that at max braking, the brake pedal is almost even with the gas pedal. I dont think a factory spec 997 would have that type of modification on it. So yeah, you'll have to modify it yourself. But i read that you should never modify the brake pedal because you may weaken it. Dont know bout that just read it. Good luck man. Sweet car too!

  • Do you know if the footwork is the same in JGTC(Super GT)?

  • @flyrydeenfly I think all the JGTC gearboxes are clutchles upshifting.

  • Riverdance in a racecar! nice one Sean

  • yep, they use

  • do these porsches use sequential transmissions?

  • Sean you are the best Porsche cup driver for me!!!

  • Use clutch downshifting only !? but no shifting up the gearbox? right?

    Excellent footwork!!

  • I would want some informations about this masterpiece. How many turns makes the steering wheel? What's the steer ratio?

  • Hi. Great video.

One cuestion. When you brake and down gear. You pull clutch for not broke the gear?

It`s necesary use clutch ever down gear?

PD: Sorry for my ugly english jaaja

    And GOOD LUCK SEAN!!!!!!

  • Yes you will damage the gearbox after a while if you don't use the clutch.

  • thanks for your answer...

    your all videos are great.

    for ever ... Thanks

  • @seanedwards000 it depends of the clutch..

  • @seanedwards000 As your upshifting clutchless, Isnt there a sensor that engages the clutch for you.

  • @prodigistics this car has a sequential gearbox, so the when upshifting, the clutch doesnt need to be disengaged and engaged due to it's straight cut gears.

  • @juanchocatancho and another reason is to prevent wheel lockup.

    i think

  • clutch not is necesary to up or down gears, its tick of the driver

  • very very perfect sean

  • Does sound pretty bad...

  • Get the audio sorted out for this weekend ffs.
