@KewneRain The only Major difference between the two is that the PSP version has some additional secret parts, most of which come from the armored core 2 games, along with a new arena AC. "Mavors" from the light novel series, whom can be fought. Defeating him rewards you with the head part exclusive to that AC.
I must ask, I just started playing AC3, since Ive only played ones that come from it... and let me just say... THESE CONTROLS. ARE FUCKING. HORRIBLE!!! I CANT EVEN PLAY THE GODDAMN GAME THEY ARE SO FUCKING BAD!!! YOU EXPECT ME. TO USE. MULTIPLE BUTTONS. JUST TO AIM THE GODDAMN LOCK BOX!?!?!?!?!? WHAT IN THE HOLY FUCKING JESUS CHRIST WERE THEY FUCKING THINKING!? AND TO TOP IT ALL OFF... NO. FUCKING. TUTORIAL!!! WHAT WERE THEY THINKING!?!?!!?!!??!?!??!?
@KewneRain at least in last raven, I still suck at most of the early ones, but at least there it isnt because controls, its just because I suck. In later editions im much better, maybe its the style of control? idk
@KewneRain Well its obvious that anyone can learn a control scheme, but the problem I have is the fact that there is no tutorial or area you can just sit around and get used to the controls DX
@82erkle AC3 by far. I love the story and I love the way the frames handle. If you think these unaugmented vids with my playthrough are cool, check out my Op-I stuff. ACSL has some nice changes to gameplay, including certain combinations of parts mixed with Op-I resulting in an AC with similar capabilities to an ACfA design, but there's also a lot of bugs in SL that make play difficult, most notably the seemingly random difficulty of the missions.
Okay, I'm ticked. Can you PLEASE provide a guide for Infiltrate Rehito Lab? That damn AC keeps killing my ass! For that matter, how about an Arena guide?
@NewTypeDilemma01 infiltrate Rheito Lab is a tough one. Nocturne's shotgun is his primary threat. His short range, however, is his fatal flaw. Draw him in close and either slam him with your blade a few times or use a machine gun/flamer combo like I did. It might take you a few tries to get it right. I won't be providing an arena guide because my arena start is largely based around abusing the heat mechanic in the game.
@NewTypeDilemma01 I'll get back to this in time though, my comp got kinda screwed up when I changed my OS and I've been having a hard time finding good vid recording hardware.
@KewneRain I tried the mission twice, one with the tread AC recommended by Prima, and one with a setup similar to yours. In the Arena combat, I was able to run Nocturne dry while hitting him with middle missile/ relation missile combination. Hell . . . a linear cannon doesn't seem to drop him.
FYI, in terms of Arena, I finally got stopped at Caller/Harlequin. F'in Op-I opponents. I know what they were thinking: "Hey, let's make it so you need OP-I to beat Arena. That sounds fun. HA, HA, HA!"
@NewTypeDilemma01 I finally came up with a way to finish Infiltrate Rheito Lab, but you need to have the Crow extension unlocked to make the most of it.
Take a tank type and the heavy EO core. Use the EN Shotgun weapon arms (FIN) and a head w/ radar. Equip a chain gun or two (I took an ammo rack.) Use the chain gun(s) to take out the MTs. When nocturne shows up, put the FIN on mode two and use the Crow. Spam the laser arms and let your EO fire. Repeat until dead.
@KewneRain No trouble, I used your MG/Flamer combination and beat him . . . barely. In fact, I beat the game legit for the first time ever. Thanks for the suggestion regardless.
@mickey11231 I don't like using energy weapons because my flight-based combat style does NOT mix w/ them. If I make something specifically for a mission requiring more firepower, then I'll use an energy weapon (typically plasma/laser cannons or the LIC-10)
but its better to use an AC with a long ground boost duration, try using the lowest aerial booster ( the booster for aerial combats) and the generator with the highest amount of energy(bar), no need to change the weapons just save the money...
I can state that all these videos also count for the PSP version of the game.

@Argroh That's a good thing to know.

I thinking of buying a AC game for PS2, but which is better AC 3 or AC SL?
LucifersSakuya 5 months ago
@LucifersSakuya ACSL kinda requires that you have an AC3 save; it's rather difficult if you start fresh. Sooo... Get AC3, finish it, then get ACSL.

@orkkilla5589 Shame on you. The controls are easy for me, partly because I'm used to them. If it helps, swap X and Square.

@NewTypeDilemma01 Or Use a K-Sawa :D Using a quad would be the best for killing him though. I suggest a lazer cannon/grenade launcher.

Good video, I enjoy your combat style. What would you say is your favorite AC game?

Good piloting, very impressive. why not using e. weapons, I think they are more accurate, like XCW90.

@KewneRain E. Weapons eat up energy so you dont want to hinder your ability to fly, makes sense. Great vids, make more for AC3

What is The Best Weapon that haves In Armored Core 3
MsPs2master 11 months ago
@MsPs2master The Kawrasawa, Not only is it a energy weapon but it very strong and has 50 ammo. It is EXTREMELY heavy though...

I play the PSP version, this mission was a little unique for me.
The trouble I had really was the actuall jumping parts provalent in this mission.

I specifically remember getting lost in that dam and failing because the lighting was too poor.
