it's always a matter of personal taste I think, but I prefer Guérin too. although Guillem is astonishing and fantastic and so on, I prefer the personality of this dancer. she is a far better actress, she goes very deep into the role... I "listen" to a story when I see her dancing... it's not only watching a performance. it's like opening a book. she takes you inside the story with her. unfortunately it's pretty rare nowadays.

Isabel Guerin is absolutely superb in this particular role. I have seen her dance in others, and I trully believe she is one of the best female ballet dancers of our time. This variation is one of my favorites. The technique is amazing and the way she is able to stand still after each move is something I just can stop loving. Hooray!!
