The largest of the 8 main Hawaiian Islands is Hawai'i. To avoid confusion between that island and the name of the 50th State, it is commonly referred to as the Big Island.

An amended version can have different information on it to protect a person's safety in the State of Hawaii. Further, his serial number is out of sequence. A pair of twins born on the 5th of Aug., 1961, have the numbers 61-10637 and 61-10638. These are recorded on Aug. 11. Obama's is 61-10641, a later number, recorded on Aug. 8--very odd. Fake!

There is absolutely no indication that Obama has an Amended birth certificate. if a birth certificate is Amended, it will say Amended on the certificate itself. Obama's doesn't say that.
Ah.. the good ole Nordyke twins. My guess on the number sequence is that Eleanor Nordyke (mom) was admitted to Kapiolani hospital before Ann Dunham was, so the packet of forms she got had lower numbers. Its only off by "3". If it was an entirely different number range, I'd say its suspicious.

@arrrogantlyignorant The registrar has nothing to do with when the mother arrives at the hospital. The registrar received the birth notice 3 days after Obama's was registered (foreign birth application, Aug. 8, 1961), and it is impossible that Obama's could be a higher number than Nordykes and all the other births registered over a three day period.

Do you have any evidence that the forms from the Hawaii Dept of Health were not 'pre-numbered'? Which "other" birth certificates have you seen (besides Obama and Nordyke) ?? How do you know Obama's is "higher" than all other births registered over a three day period?
Again, its only out of sequence by "3". Are you contending that Obama's was forged?

@arrrogantlyignorant I love my tinfoil hat and wear it with pride. The state birth certificate has the doctor's signature on it and the name of the hospital. None of this is on Obama's document; it's just a summary. Further, the Health Department "amended" a new summary certificate to match information on the forged "fight the smears" 2007 document, which was a forgery they couyld not vouch for. Why are they suddenly turning the dials on Obama's birth documents?

What you fail to understand is that the document Obama provided is just a modern birth certificate. As of 2001, all vital records at the Hawaii Dept of Health were converted to electronic form. Since then they no longer issue "long form" or photo copies of paper birth certificates. The COLB is the current standard issue birth certificate. If you are from Hawaii and you order a copy of your birth certificate, the green COLB is what they give you.

As late as June 10, 2009, you could obtain a certificate of live birth (not the summary certification of live birth), because the Dept. of Hawaiian Homelands did not accept the summary version for its programs. This was later changed to accommodate the Obama deception you are buying into. AS LATE AS JUNE OF 2009 YOU COULD OBTAIN A LONG-FORM BIRTH CERTIFICATE. The policy was changed around June 18, 2009. I've got you by the berries this time.

Obama never claimed to have 50% Hawaiian blood, so the DHHL is irrelevant. They are checking make sure applicants to their programs meet that criteria. There are other ways (genealogy) etc to determine that people applying for land and/or loans meet the requirements.
You're full of it. Hawaii has not issued "long form" or photo copies since 2001.
At that time all the vital records had been converted to electronic form.

@arrrogantlyignorant The digital age has nothing to do with one's ability to get a long form birth certificate. Long forms can be scanned into a hard drive for printing, resulting in a better image than a photostatic copy. It therefore makes sense to use digital technology to store long form information. The DHHL info is relevant because it proves that long forms were still being issued in 2009 (not 2001). Obama's ancestry argument is a strawman: I can't believe you tried to pull that one on me.

The digital age has everything to do with it. I never contended that the technology to produce a "long form" does not exist. What I've been trying to say, which should be obvious, is that it is the Hawaii Dept of Health policy that they do not issue them anymore. Did you not read the quotes from Janice Okubo?
Just because the DHHL preferred a long form until recently does not mean that the Dept of Health issued them. I can't believe what you're trying to pull on everyone else.

Obama has had his COLB online for more than 2 years. Undoubtedly, there must be birthers in Hawaii. Why is it that some birther has not scanned his/her Hawaii "long form" issued after 2001? Don't you find it the least bit strange that NO ONE has produced an image online of a POST 2001 Hawaii "long form".
There is a reason for that...... they don't exist.

Seven years ago, I needed a copy of my birth certificate. The Hawaii Dept of Health sent me the EXACT SAME COLB that Obama has had online for more than 2 years. It has been legally sufficient for any situation that required that I present a valid BIRTH CERTIFICATE. Its never been rejected.
Let me ask you..... WHY haven't we seen a Hawaii LONG FORM issued after 2001? Because they don't exist.
