bowie gave a whole series of interviews in the 70s about his bisexuality - and encouraged a generation to come out in their thousands...seems rather odd when he talks about his new wife...but bowie always was rather odd. he definately made his best music when he was gay.

David was very friendly and likeable... at the end he walked round and found all the backstage staff and shook hands and said 'thanks'. Just as a little aside, Blondie were playing in town the night after so Debbie & a friend came in to say hello to Bowie. I got her a cab at the end of the night and she kissed me and said nice to see you!!
