  • 5 dislikes...what is wrong with people?

  • i started off with the new wave of emo and just happened to work my way back

but i went as far forward as fueled by ramen this new shit is not my fault

  • Scene kids...shhhhhut up...the only thing worse than "scene kids" is people who talk shit about "scene kids"

  • @jeffshepherdfss1 I dunno the ones that go around claiming they are "emo" and then listen to the latest crop of mainstream crap and claim that it's emo music piss me off.

  • @jeffshepherdfss1 STFU scene kid. You know how I know you're a scene kid? Because you're complaining about people who talk shit about scene kids, and you put the term scene kids in parentheses; Which is something only a scene kid who didn't want to be "labeled" would do.

  • This band is perfect in every way. I miss music like this so much.

  • Screw it all...I started my music with Gorilla Biscuits, Shelter and even Integrity. Back in the day you bought new and different music because it sounded good or just wanted to hear something new or different. Now you have buy "scene" music, just sit back and apperciate good music when you hear it.

  • just discovering this now.. i feel like i was just born.

  • Even though im 14, i still love this kind of music c: I wish i was around when this was popular. TITR, Mineral, Sunny Day Real Estate.. <3

  • its sad that wikipedia would name some of these bands enfluential emo?........

  • @Squrtle14 Well they are...

  • @Squrtle14 no bro, this is real emo and its good. The 2000's stuff packaged and sold to you by hot topic and MTV has nothing to do with actual emo.

  • just getting inspirated....

  • .......

  • I really wish music like this would come back.

  • and Mineral of course <3

  • for some odd reason they remind me of My Chemical Romance.....

  • @TheRealCupicakeStar .... o_0

  • so so good. I loved the late 90's, there were so many good bands, music was amazing, and it didn't feel like an uphill battle to find something melodic and real without shitty posthardcore math beats and banshee wails...

  • so so good. I fuckin loved the late 90's there were so many good bands, music was amazing, and it didn't feel like an uphill battle to find something melodic and real without shitty posthardcore math beats and banshee wails... I used to love emo when it was great

  • I want to go back to those years! Melancholy!!!

  • as someone who grew up with the grunge, then the new metal, always knew i had the emo to fall back on, sense field, texas, sunny day, they cant take that away from us

  • 8B

  • 8B

  • Back when emo ruled before scene kids came and destroyed it all.

  • @Squeege85

Pretty much. I used to like to say I listened to emo. Now not so much.....

  • @Squeege85 Amen brotha!

  • @Squeege85 I think we should bring back authentic Emo. Go back to 1st and 2nd wave and pretend like 3rd wave never existed.

  • @Squeege85 Best comment I ever read

  • @Squeege85 Could not agree more. The term "emo" has been tainted to the point where it has become derogatory.

  • soz for the gay dislike comment but this band deserves it.

    3 people have no testicles.

  • this is one of the best songs ever made

  • @XxAdTrFrEaKiNrOcKsXx

Bet you heard of this band 3 days ago from the wikipedia article on "emo"

  • @MajorityRule actually no, my cousin had this album sittin in his room and i stole it from him about 4 years ago

  • Real emo music.

  • song was awesome with transworlds greatest hits video

  • remember the in-flight rev sampler this was on back in 97, was the shit. ah the good ol days.

  • @hazmat151

That album came out when my brother was about my age, and i remember stealing it off him as a kid!! He's still got it kickin around somewhere!! Some quality tunes on there!! Its what got me into Sensefield!! =D

  • luv this song lots

  • @EmObEaR1211

    fuck off

  • why does youtube put the like & dislike right next to eachother see how people can miss there's a dislike

  • look up 'starmarket - repetition' for a song with the same riff from the other side of the world, released the same year! hah, so who was first?

  • awesome tune, first heard it on a skate vid where you generally find all the good stuff! check 'Sense Field - outlive the man' on you tube - give this tune some time too, love it!

  • @wimborne123 do you know the name of said skate vid? haha

  • Can't stop listening to this song. so much power, so much emotion and it sounds damn good too. It sucks that they broke up though

  • this is real emo fall out boy & dashboard are alright but this is real

  • One of my favorite bands growing up. I must have listened to this album a billion times. Every note and beat I know by heart.

  • This is fantastic.

  • ah now I see why funeral for a friend and alexisonfire are so different to the wider emo scene and why their so much better great band these

  • A very beautiful song.

  • I miss emo. R.I.P., old friend.

  • 1 album n they left a legacy. emo rock. not 'emo screamo don wanna grow up'

  • This is emo!!

  • saw them at the ABC No Rio with Christie Front Drive. One of the best gigs ever.

  • Aaw them in the ABC No Rio with Christie Front Drive. One of the best gigs ever.

  • I remember listening to this song on a Revelation compilation that I bought in Japan. I was on my first deployment in the Navy, on board a nuclear submarine. This song is the soundtrack to so many memories, some good, and some bad. All in all, it was the best time of my life.

  • I wish emo was still a term to describe music like this =( This style of music is great.

  • gotta love TITR love this song love this band!

  • Quicksand...... Thanks for bringing them up.

  • Thanks for posting awesome song and band

  • i sold my cd in a pawn shop many many years ago. fuck me

    yeah good memories tho

  • LOL. Ok this is my favorite T.I.T.R. song and I had no idea it was on here. Look up the song "Repetition" by the band STARMARKET and compare the melodies. Regardless, Love both songs and bands. R.I.P.

  • this song was on a skateboard video when I was younger and I love this song.

  • FUCK my brother showed me that video! what was it?

  • this band rocks!!!!

  • awesome song awesome band!

  • SDRE = Sunny Day Real Estate

  • Dude your entire video collection sums up my late 1990's. SDRE and TITR are by far two of my favorite bands.

  • Wow, ....the memories

  • "Do you know who you are" is another fantastic song.

    I miss good music.

  • bands that make you dance..

  • Such a sick band...makes me miss the days when music didnt suck

  • @TheNakedRaygun Me too, bud.

  • This band kicks ass. I own this cd. It is awesome.

  • what an amazing song. Texas Is The Reason, Sense Field, Quicksand, Farside, and so many other great Revelation bands that were completely underrated!

  • well atleast theyre early stuff was.I dunno i dont listen to them

  • There old stuff was considered emo, if you want there real emo stuff consider listening to: New American Summer and Great Romances of the 20th Century. There new shit is just Emo Poser bandwagon shit.

  • I think sort of... Their first EP was really quite emo, but it got less emo after then. They're kind of like Thursday, I guess, whether it's emo or not is up to your opinion.

  • the best song of TITR

  • Well Nickel Wound is another excellent song. Those two stand out the the most to me. Probably has a lot to do with the fact that back in the day these two songs were the ones I downloaded off Napster/winMX :D

But I could never find the album in stores until I bought it off interpunk recently.

  • I used to LOVE these guys back in the day....them and CIV and Shelter andH2Oand .....dang....dont stop me now.....LOL

  • love this band so much, when i was in college this is what moved us.. all of the post hardcore bands were so great

  • great post great song thx :)
