I am a full time mac user and a full time Windows user (I have 2 machines on my desk, one running Windows XP Pro and a MacBook Running Mac OS X 10.5, i Like to keep my machines up to date, Vista was just bullshit and chips to me so i skipped that step ... after running Windows 7 on my MacBook i think i will be upgrading Windows XP Pro to Windows 7 because Windows 7 is a Very good and solid OS even at the RC Stage, Vista was no where near this even on release day.

i download the first beta that they announced in the CES, and it works so fast, i'm loving all the new features like: aero-shake, the new taskbar, windows media center!, and so many more things.

i like it!, and i think windows is only for professionals users in the computer, i didn't mean that i'm a professional but i really want to be and i think that windows is the perfect way to try to be; but in the nowadays windows is helping me in all of things i like to do with a lot of programs

If you really knew the history of the GUI- then you'd know that both microsoft and apple got it from someone else. it was invented at the palo alto research center (parc) by xerox. Look it up.

The video you referred to is kind of an idiotic look at the whole thing. Windows has has tree views since 95, and just because he pulled up the same document on two different computers, or got forbid looked at two folders with pics in them does not mean they have any significant similarities.

Hey, 7 is fuckin awesome bro.Downloaded BETA and this shit is seriously responsive.The icons in the taskbar aren't that big, if you think about it they're alot smaller then the written long ones in XP and Vista. Also if you have 3 Exp windows open, just roll your mouse over Exp and it will show u a preview of the three, hold it there a little longer and it goes full screen preview. If u want it, just click it.

I will buy it as soon as BETA expires and 7 hits the shelves.Try it for yourself.

Iam an OSX user and none of the features shown in this video are present in osx, in osx you cannot even maximise a window here you can do it just by draging a window to the top edge of the screen. Window 7 is clearly more functional and intuitive then OSX and more over it has a better task bar that helps you manage more windows at any one time.

Another problem in the UI of osx is that you only have 1 menu bar for all your apps it tends to get confusing to know which menubar is

the one menu bar mad sense when we had 14 inch crt screens at 640x480 resolutions so we saved a bit of space but doesnt make any sense today. Another problem is OSX nagging to write your password every time you have to install a software, if you have a complex password it really waste you alot of time, at least vista has the option to disable its feature and just press yes not type all your 20 character long password or pass phrase.
