The Browns haven't been winners in a LOOOOONG time and what most Browns fans don't wanna admit, even to yourselves, four of those "8" occurred in the AAFC, a league of nobodies. Way to live VERY far in the past. The Browns haven't been winners in a LOOOOONG time and what most Browns fans don't wanna admit, even to yourselves, four of those "8" occurred in the AAFC, a league of nobodies. A league that only three teams made it to the NFL. No doubt though, the Browns were a good team back then, but way to hold on to something that hasn't happened since 1964, a Cleveland championship. I bet you weren't alive to see it, but alive to see the Steelers last title.

ok, ANCIENT history - but we have to have something to stay proud. History is fact; and the Browns WON the NFL Championship the first year in from AAFC to NFL which clearly proves Cle's AAFC wins were more than valid - in fact Cle was better than ANY NFL team! Get it - they beat the highly favored NFL team in the CHAMPIONSHIP game in 1950. So the NFL was actually the inferior league of teams if you want to go head to head as the Browns surely proved in 1950!

Hardly, the AAFC had one good team, the rest were far inferior. The Browns mauled those teams losing only four games in four years. The only other team that could push any rivalry to them was the 49ers and when they entered the NFL they were terrible, so the league was inferior. That league was just a showcase for the Browns.

So, The Browns could have won 5 NFL Championships in row from 1946-1947-1948-1949-1950! Easily! Old AFLrecords were valid too as Championships, but the top team in AFL did NOT, repeat did NOT do well when transfered to NFL. The Browns not only did well - they beat up all the NFL teams the first year in. If you can't get this, then I'll have to meet you in person anywhere and we can discuss this face to face!

Sometimes they are targets, but if somebody has a history of doing one thing, most of the time it's true when somebody says they did it. I have worked directly in player in development (on the NCAA level) as an alcohol and drug counselor and trust me, most of these guys take advantage of their status to do whatever they want to.
