  • Scary. x_x

  • KLM 743 must have plenty of life in it yet.

  • can you get inside the planes for a look?

  • Give me one or two! I'm sure I can store them somewhere in my garage...

  • look at those old virgins!

  • @SB93696 Smart-ass, LOL!

  • 3:04 - 3:36 those 747's could still be used, we still have them at manchester UK

  • Why Engine covers when those planes are finished ?

  • @BrandonKY81

Two reasons for that. Many of them are just stored and can still be used/sold. Maybe to a customer in the third world where many aircrafts are 30 years and older. Many planes are still able to fly after a check. Some of them even return to the previous owner again. The second reason is that many parts of the old birds still can be used and sold as "used spare parts" for planes still flying. That´s why. They´re just finished when they are scraped. ;-)

  • @Slaterator russia is selling 30 old years plane to some countries in Africa where they crash almost every two or 3 years , you can check on youtube "plane crash congo " . they are selling plane to Iran also , iranian plasne crashes videos are on youtube

  • Costs to much. Metal fatigue takes it's toll. We don't want aircraft falling out of the sky. Experience has taught us that.

  • @belinda2118

I don´t think that all of them are useless because of metal fatigue. There are many stored aircrafts over there still fit enough to fly some years because they were well maintenanced by the previous owner. I totally agree with you that we don´t want to see planes crashing because of metal fatigue. But I´am pretty sure many of the stored planes don´t have that kinda problem. It is pure greed the drives some idiots to buy a plane with that problem and let it fly...:-(

  • Sell em to third world countries for their transport you greedy cunts

  • This actually makes me sad when I see things like this. I bet 95% of these planes still had many years left in them; There airlines just wanted better ones :(

  • If they scrapped all those then they could clear some of the US deficit!!

  • so sad....

  • What was that little black dot flying acrross at 0:52?

  • This is where Tiger Airways and Garauda buy aircraft from LOL

  • They'll be looking at this clip 50 years from now, and saying: "Look at that treasure, why wasn't it saved? We could have done with some of those for our museum." Ha ha!

  • Russia could use these planes so they can get rid of all their old Yak cr@p.

  • I'll have one if there not being used anymore, I'll take the Virgin Atlantic B747

  • Most aircraft are flight worthy they are just not as efficient as modern jets but many end up as freighters or sold to africa or asia

  • Pintado de KLM y el simbolo en la cauda, no lo veo claro lo bastante pero me parece de Air Algérie. (min 4:25)

  • bettter here than in the bottom of the ocean you clowns, propper work maintanace was done

  • makes me physically sick.

  • AY CABRON

  • the guy said those planes are for sale

  • Why is it that they cannot be used? Just wondering.

  • @Kloops100 Often it's a question of fuel efficiency. But many of these planes could end up as cargo haulers.

  • @Kloops100

    Economy collapse.

    So theyre unoccupied.

  • zombies aircraft...

  • they all may have been b17s or b25s a long time ago

  • A 747-400 like in 4:18 cost 200.000$

When the 747 isn´t able to fly the price is much lower...

    Md-11 ,Boeing 767 the same.

  • @HamburgAirport So, does it mean, that, you can't fly the 747 and the 767 once again?? i thought that it can fly for more time. and i got another question, who will buy a 747?. i mean this old one.

  • Pero alguno de esos aviones vuelven a volar verdad por que se ven mcomo nuevos no todods son? para reciclar

  • This is really sad

  • hmmmm... are there security guard on this plane? i'm thinking to steal one of these planes! :)

  • is it possible for any one to go around this planes???

  • @jainish007 Yeah its possible to do a tour there, just call in at the guy who does the refuelling and he does the tour, sadly they no longer let you leave the minibus you do the tour in and now you cant even take photos, i did it in june 2010 and the guy said airlines have complained about photos appearing on youtube etc.... not sure if this is true though. Theres not as many aircraft as years ago but still interesting, many now are being stored at victorville i think.

  • @pw767echidna thanks...

  • All planes for scrap or for second hand use?

  • its sad to see perfectly good planes like the 747 757 767 in a scrap yard :( in 17 years i bet the 787 and the airbus a-380 will be there

  • I wish i had the money to buy one and restore it and keep it in a hanger as a model.

  • .... i hope theres no 757's in this place.... :(

  • what virgin planes were they

  • bad of parckson???

  • looking @ these planes and saying what a waste :'(

  • @Anatolian90 most airlines and passengers dont want to fly old clunkers

  • can someone has an english version on the narrator?

  • Comment removed

  • can you speak english?

  • Their only hope is getting reincarnated into a coke can or more planes, one day you could be drinking coke and you say to your self, " Self, I wonder if this use to be a DC-9?"

  • @shiptech2k9 reincarnated into a coke can? hahahah gotta love bruce Dickinson

  • @houshidar558 yup

  • @shiptech2k9 Some are sold to others

  • Can u tell me just here this is at? Is there any way to get in the planes? Interesting stuff

  • Comment removed

  • If you can afford this, you should buy these aircraft and make them into housing units. That's a lot of square feet in a wide body fuselage.

  • @tobascocat1 fly them in africa you will make more money

  • these B767 are from Air Canada

  • I would so buy those dc-10's over there at 2:40.

Restore it and walla. you got your new wife starin right at yah -_o

  • Obama is such a fraud. I wanted this fleet to re-activate during spring break to offer college kids free flights to Cancun and an Obama guy said Obama would do this if I voted for him. Now, these airplanes still sit, and college students have to use their own money to get to prime spring break destinations.

  • @TheCannonofMohammed

Boo Hoo, cry a river. Pay for your own damn plane ticket to Cancun like everyone else. Your probably a spoiled little bitch who has everything handed to them

  • @beaupower32 Look, I voted for Obama because I thought he was going to pay my mortgage and medical bills. He didn't. The least he can do is to give college kids a free lift to Cancun with a beer stipend. I don't think this is asking too much from my government.

  • @TheCannonofMohammed

There is your first problem, you voted for Obama. And you really thought that he was going to pay the mortgage and medical bills? MWAHHHHHHHHH, thats what you get. The least he could do is get out of office and not spend any more money, especially on spoiled kids who think everyone should serve them on hand and foot.

  • @beaupower32 Dude, you'd better chill. I just want our government to be responsible and take care of the people. Medical care, mortgage payments, and, yes, a Spring break stipend with beer allowance. I just think it would be nice. And these airplanes are just sitting around anyway! You are a Debbie downer!

  • @TheCannonofMohammed

Chill, what you going to do, bad mouth me on youtube? I am all for the government being responsible and take care of people, but the things you are asking for are far fetched. You really think anyone in their right mind would go for a plane full of college kids loaded with beer and just fly them to where ever, yeah right. Most planes sit due to cost of operation, some maintenance, and some for other reason. One day they will fly again but not with the economy right now.

  • @TheCannonofMohammed This guy is right, they need regular flights going to party destinations free of charge. Leisure time makes us all more productive in the long run.

  • Buenisimo Jake¡¡

  • jajaja muy bueno la parte que aclaraste que te quedaste sin bateria

  • poor planes!

  • como ingresaste a esa area siempre he estado interesado en ir

  • mojave california?

  • The shakey camerwork almost made me throw up.

  • COMO INGRESÓ AYA?
