That game against Nebraska in the sleet. That is the first K-State game that I have a distinct memory of. I remember watching games before then, but that was the first game to ever mean anything. It's great when the first game you remember watching is one of the biggest wins in school history. Here's to the team that wins and wins and doesn't get any respect by default, we earn all of the respect we ever get, overlooked and underrated we will prevail and we will win.

That sucked when K-State lost to Texas A&M. I am not a K-State fan, but I remember the lean years when they were trash, and I was pulling for them that day. They would have won it all that year, no doubt.

BTW, someone should have produced a movie for the 30 for 30 series on Bill Snyder and this turnaround. That would be a pretty good documentary.

I still wonder how the program would have changed if we would have won the Big XII Championship game, gone on to the National Championship game and won it. Then in 2003, Roberson got hurt and we lost those 3 in the middle and won when he came back. Two great chances at greatness and we came up short.
