imran khan reminds me of shek mujibur rahman of east pakistan. that same fire in his voice and that same charisma and the same vision for pakistan. unfortunately the army was unleashed upon us in 1971 to the point where we had to break the country. if mujibur rahman was given power in 1971 then pakintan would have 1000 times better than india or china today.
@Tansirul from what I understand (as a Punjabi Indian living in Canada), in that election in Pakistan...1970, almost 60% of the votes were for the two main parties, Rahman's (almost 40%) Party and Bhutto's party (almost 20%), both were socialist or at least centre-left parties and both were quite secular, the difference lay in that Bhutto believed in the 2 nation theory and rejected Bengali nationalism, if Bhutto was for federalism, Pakistan would be so different today

IMHO he is actually better than Sobers.
Worth of a bowling all-rounder is far more than that of a batting all-rounder.
Imran was a better batsman (averaged 38) than Sobers was a bowler (wicket every 15 overs roughly!)

Seems like he will be our hope (last). I will pray to Allah, if he is righteous then give him strength to fight againt injustice and corruption from Pakistan (amen). There are only two areas in Pakistan to work honestly and Pakistan will be next singapore and Malayshia. Those are : 1) Education 2) Judicial system.

Secondly to make Pakistan better, we people need to wake up and stand up for a person who we believe can make Pakistan better. we have tried nawaz and zardari.. why not give imran a chance who has given so much to Pakistan even though that was not his responsibility to do so.

1.we must impelment the constitution and make it be SUPREME.
2.dont depend on individiuals and let our department work freely in its feilds...
3.disappoint all these useless politicians and trial them and punish every one of them for their crimes and then replace them with new team which must be patriot and qualified ,
and we can do it, bcs we have many many talented and patriot and qualified people which we can replace with...

@theProudMoslim you are an idealist mate. the fact is that in pakistan there exists political and military elites. imran khan, if he wants to work in the system, has to work with the system. do you want him to antagonize the military and have the military takeover pakistan in a coup? you have to be pragmatic, democracy is a process, you can't change a country over night. you start with the system, then from within you change the system. this is how politics works.

@theProudMoslim till now the people that you call corrupt which have joined PTI are in 10's.. a few.. however you never bothered to look at PTI original team which consists of hundereds of people. imran lacks in lot of things i knw.. but he is also far better than others also. compare the good vs bad being unbiased

so dont think that Imran will give chance for those workers who were with Him since 1995 & were beaten and sent to jail many many times for him..
why Imran still trying to bring people of other parties if he want give chance for His orignal (honost team)

You need to be enough open minded to accept the fact that even if a language isn't you mother tongue, you still should try your best to be good at speaking or writing it, but still if you think you dont want to be like the west, you should better write in URDU then.

Pakistani's and the wider global community are sick and tired of a weak, corrupt and desperate nation lurching from corruption to extremism. Political leaders and land owners have raped the country and its people for many many years.
Surely time has now come for a radical political change. Imran Khan has achieved much in his lifetime and is educated, progressive and most importantly passionate about bringing about change.
He deserves a chance. Please lets give him one.
