Well the footage is recorded at 60 Frames per second,

You then use a software , after effects for example and use a plugin called Twixtor (Which is better than the default Time Warp) which slows down videos to a seemingly 1000 frames per second speed,

it basically blends frames together to make it seem slower.

@Antonio12Goncalves If you mean the waves and ripples that distort it, It is because of the fact that a T2i camera only records in 60 Frames per second. To get this smoth slow- mo you let a program double that count by making a pictures in beetwen every original pictures. A mixtures of the originals, wich sometimes looks wierd if you slow the video down to much...

@Antonio12Goncalves this is not an actual slow motion.... these scenes are filmed with a DSLR probably at @60 fps and the the clip is edited in adobe premiere or other video editing programs that support this effect, and so in between the actual frames the program creates some additional frames that are no so precise... that's why you can see the guy's foot like that in that moment ;)

Thus the 'wtf' moment.

I movie is only an editor for those who is not interested in learning how to to slow mo REALLY smoooth, I recommend Twixtor, because this software blends at the same time as it can slow things down to almost stadning still, like we saw on the video. Twixtor can be installed as a plugin in Adobe After Effects, and its easy to learn ;)
