I can remember when this song was sung on Lucky Strike hit Parade. It was portraid as a bunch of people dancing around with grass skirts on and they had bones through their noses beating on drums singing the song. Good group, just keeps getting better.
We saw Dave yesterday at Mohegan Sun in Bowzer's do wop show of myriad stars. Dave is a TRUE class act and like fine wine, he just keeps getting better and better. A real pro and a GREAT human being.
@Qunix PBS concert "Magic Moments - The Best of '50s Pop" in 2004. Bill Reed (the tall bass singer) died in 2004 (age 68). Ted Kowalski (comic tenor who wore the handkerchief on his head) died August 8, 2010 (age 79). So glad they got to do this reunion concert. ♫♥♫
@TopazDupree So cool that they had this shining moment, together - and that they were part of a little slice of greatness for all those years that keeps living in peoples' hearts.
Real talent, great fun music. I love this. M.S. Pembrokeshire Wales. U.K.
