lol, the cables aren't special. they're just color coded for convenience. as long as the the cable is connected to the same corresponding port it doesn't matter what cable you use. heck i been using 2 sets of regular av cables for the longest time. red/white for audio on one and red/white/yellow to orange/blue/green for video. don't feel bad, i'm not trying to make fun of you.

Never use an aircooler, unless it's powered from a different source.

The coolers cause major issues with the 360s because they take power from the 360 power brick, and the 360 only gets what's left over. This can cause the RRoD.

actually the red and white cables are for sound the yellow is for vidio on a reg tv thos are called compaset cords the blue green and the other red is for hd tv's and thos cords are called composet but its not as good as hdmi but both composit and component both give off the same vidio signels so thats why green also works for yellow and thats for all cords not just 360 ... but the coll thing about this is if you have 2 tvs you can put the composite cords in one and the component in the other

lol they gave you a cable without yellow. that means the cable is an HD only cable, because yellow is used only for SDTV. the green cable is actually your sound cable and your supposed to buy an adapter that lets you plug your speakers (any with only one green cable) into that cable. pretty sophisticated, i know.

also if you've got the two red and white cables, then use an adapter that lets you plug the two colors into a color coded...plug... then plug your speakers into the other side :)

ok, you should have got the Nyko intercooler EX because it is far better as it wont melt onto your 360 unlike the origional intercooler and it doesnt draw as much power, oh and you also dont have some strange hookup at the back of the console like the falcon and in my opionion the nyko is much neater as you can use it with the wireless adapter.

If your so worried about heating issues for your xbox 360 then you should really play with your 360 laying down. seriously this is like the millionth video of people saying how much they try to get their 360 cooler, but have it standing up... this makes no sense. I dont know who told you that, but its definatly not true. If you have your 360 placed sideways you have much more surface area for spreading the heat that cannot escape quickly. Not only that, your biggest air INTAKE is on the bottom. Which when you stand your machine up, gets virtually shut off because you cover it up. Lay it down If you want a longer 360 life.

Well the Wii is the same way, but it seems to do fine. Air can get through because theres about 1/16 of an inch between the console and wtvr surface it's on. That may not sound like much, but when you generate negative air presure inside the console (via rear fans) The air flows just fine.  The problem occurs when you have it on a softer surface (like a carpet or table cloth). The weight of the console pushes down, which blocks the vents. If you have it on wood or glass it's fine =)

nah nah you see Stomplar is right. also the reason you get the RROD is a HARDWARE failure not overheating. the motherboard lies flat on the xbox but if its standing up the gpu chip comes loose from the viabration. hence the hardware failure
