alot of the times Michigan cop have more then one at a time watching most likely there was other units that saw it happen so he went after the car and another officer to the guy in the road
Reguardless I believe rather whoever is at fault still it was someone who got hurt or probably killed and some people replying are heartless. If it had been someone they loved a sister, brother, mother, or father would they still say such cold words? Think what this person's loved ones are feeling once they found out. I don't think anyone who've replied would say the same if had been them instead.

I feel bad for the guy but lets face it for the facts. 1 he was crossing illegaly. not like it matters cosidering the illegals that live here but all the same... 2 Judging by the way he was walking in the first place, I dont think he has much to worry about in terms of brain damage or mobility. 3 I can only assume that he was advertizing something with his pants round his knees so it should not be an issue if his ass got tapped.
yo if that happened to me, I'd be like I was texting and I wasn't paying attention to the road, I heard a bump from my car but didn't know I hit someone.... lol rather get a ticket for texting
So the cop leaves the guy in the road... hmmm. I know ya gotta decide hurt guy/bad guy but I think I would have gone for the hurt guy lying in the road... especially since he could easily get run over by another car.
@xetlive Tough choice however the drunk driver would have got away with it if the cop would have come to the assistance of the pedestrian (who looked drunk btw). I'm sure the police would have called for other units and ambulance to assist the pedestrian straight away. I've been in a traffic accident. The driver managed to wreck my car, roll my car over and then fled the scene. He had blown out of a side street failing to give way. Anyway I would prefer someone gave chase to the fleeing idiot.
