Arab and North African leaders purchased Caucasians as "sex slaves" because they were seen (AT THE TIME) as exotic in that area of the world. Light/pale skinned Caucasians were typically not commonly seen in Mediterranean regions, thus they were desired and fetishized, the same way DARK SKINNED black women were during slavery, when WHITE men would cheat on their WHITE wives by raping female slaves.

- Ages slower than light skin.
- Deals with less facial blemish than light skin.
- Gets less (if any) diseases than light skin.
Now I am not saying that dark skin is BETTER, it just has more long-term, physical benefits than light skin does. For the record, I am a light skinned mixed race guy.

@FuhevaCherri That's not necessarily true. It can go the opposite way too. If a white person is really pale they get a lot of flack for it too. People look at them funny because they are SO pale and tell them things like "get a tan. You're burning my eyes!" (That actually happened to a friend of mine and she was so devastated) All in all is, just like the gentleman who posted this video said, we are all beautiful and should love each other for who we are. :)
