I bet a lot of people never watched this because they don't like wrestling. I think professional wrestling is idiotic but this movie is one of my all time favorites.
i hate wrestling too, but loved this movie. the film's not really about wrestling. it's about life, getting old, feeling alone, society throwing you on the shit pile, etc. really good movie, but sad and scary because many of us will feel like The Ram and the Pole dancer when we hit a certain age.

Unless you can handle all that yourself, don't try and call it fake.

No, I believe he did not die. He finished the match, pinned Ayatolla and survived. Tragically many wrestlers have died, but some are amazingly still alive after beating the odds.

No, I believe he did not die. He finished the match, pinned Ayatolla and survived. Tragically many wrestlers have died, but some are amazingly still alive after beating the odds.

I didnt like the movie, I think becuz of the big expectations I had. I think the film byted Rocky, but instead of a hero, he is a anti-hero. Great acting do' , but I saw too much boobs and pussy in the movie.

The end was a typical modern movie end. Maybe it's because im an old-movies fan, but I just want to know how it ended with everyone. I read all those positive reviews so I head to watch this movie. But not only the script was ennoying, but the camera too. Everytime the camera was right behind him. Some people like that kind of ' original ' movies. I just wasted my time.
