How long would it take to do both upper and lower canyons? Its about 270 miles. Also is Dolan falls doable in a kayak with more than avg flow? Great vids.
Lower canyons are the coolest... Our Campus ministry group in Laredo goes every year... ITS A BLAST!!!... LOL i almost died on one of the rapids cant remember the name i think it was the big one after hot springs rapid or after Black pather rapid... it was fun though XD
Great Viedo!!!! Me and a buddy own land rite at the mouth of San Francisco. We are planning a trip from Heath ranch to Johns marina. Where did yall put in and take out and what time of year was it?
Wow! I've seen pictures and read a lot of trip reports on the lower canyons but this is the first video. Gives me a better idea of what its like. Lot of rock gardens in that river. Saw your Devils River video. Keep up the good work!
Thanks alot...haha...yeah I have spent some time backpacking in the Chisos as well, and as amazing as that is...the lower canyons is better...even if you don't get a chance to do the lower canyons...check out one of the upper canyons...I know a lot of information about any of the floats...so just let me know if you need anything and I can email you...we never use companies so we do everything ourselves...but I often talk with expedition companies
Irish Matt, you guys are awesome!! I've spent alot of time backpacking in the NP, and am gonna make my upcoming bachelor party a float trip in the park area. but the lower canyons is freakin nuts!! I gotta raise a group and check that out.
