@taylorhippie This is the only time I've seen this live. Heard it done live before though. I have a bootleg of them live in Japan from a show in 1998. They start the song and right during the intro Anton stops it, goes off on a band member, then just leaves the stage.

Then Joel being Joel says something like "I'll like to take this time to premiere my new solo tambourine act" and starts to play, Matt then joins in on the bass, only lasted a couple of seconds but they had a good vibe going on.

@notsovelvet Yeah, I'm not claiming this is the only live version of this on you tube etc. It is a rare one... Love that story though. I'd love to hear that bootleg. I didn't know they had gone to Japan in '98. I surprised some of those guys in that band could get passports, not to mention there was still a lot of drug activity in the band at that time, from what I've heard. Japan's rough on drugs from what I understand, esp pot. Joel, what a character & Hollywood, love em. What a trip. Thanks!

@taylorhippie I'm sure you've seen "Dig!", there's footage of them in Japan on it, they go to play some shows over there after they get a deal with TVT.

I would upload the track I was talking about to my Youtube but I can't upload videos from this computer anymore, sucks because there's a couple of tunes I would love to upload.

@notsovelvet I have seen Dig... I did notice the parts in Japan but I thought that was like... 2001-2002 ish. I remember Anton saying on his site back then he had trouble getting his speakers and some equipment back from there. So Im not sure how many times they've been there. I was under the impression the dig footage was around when I said, cuz thats about when I filmed these and it was a close lineup... The TVT thing makes sense. Sorry bout yer PC, I'll have to look for that. Thanks!!!
