The M4A1, SCAR-L, Type 95 and the G36c are all Carbines, Infinity Ward need to research there weapons more before they put weapons into the game. Also the amount of guns that they copied from battlefield is excruciatingly high.

The SCAR in this game is the SCAR-L or MK-16, the L stands for light. The SCAR in MW2 was the SCAR-H or MK-17, the H stood for heavy. The SCAR-H had less bullets because the were 7.62mm NATO ammuniton with more stopping power than the 5.56mm NATO bullets in the SCAR-L. So the SCAR-H had more power to compensate for less bullets while the SCAR-L has more bullets to compensate for less power.However more people use the SCAR-L because it is more common ammuniton around the world.
