  • RAGE RAGE RAGE

    Scorn and punishment for the politicians.

    Νο prevention from anyone of them to protect country.

    Νational betrayal

  • If you catch the arsonists, don't waste time and money giving them a fair trial. Just bash them and throw them in the fire that they started. What are they going to do, put a whole village or town in jail?? They caught a man in India raping a little girl, all the villagers gathered around and beat him to death. I believe justice was served.

  • It never ceases to amaze me...hoe such a rich country..rich in history, culture, and natural beauty...can se easily be brought to its kneeds by the political schism that runs through it....sad.....I have a gut feeling that many of these fires were caused by left wing radicals wanting to affect the upcoming elections in mid September...how sad......

  • i completely agree leoni.

  • Agreed - the fires are most definitely home grown, meaning Greek created, but the news will always try to blame Albanians, or Bulgarians, or ridiculous terrorist theories, or maybe Turkey sent some commandos to Greece with lighter fuel and a lighter. How absurd. Wake up Greece and deal with the corruption, or the fires will continue every year. The 2008 fires have already started and we are still only in June!

  • 60 fires in one night alone= ridiculous terrorist theories?

    You are really stupid

  • ΕΛΛΗΝΕΣ! ΟΛΟΙ ΜΑΖΙ ΣΗΚΩΘΕΙΤΕ ΚΑΙ ΕΝΩΘΕΙΤΕ! ΓΙΑ ΤΟ ΟΝΟΜΑ ΤΟΥ ΧΡΙΣΤΟΥ! ΟΙ ΠΡΟΔΟΤΕΣ ΤΗΣ ΜΗΤΕΡΑΣ ΚΑΙ ΤΟΥ ΠΑΤΕΡΑ ΣΑΣ ΤΗΣ ΙΔΙΑΣ ΜΑΣ ΤΗΣ ΓΗΣ, ΟΙ ΕΦΙΑΛΤΕΣ ΜΑΣ ΚΑΙΝΕ ΚΑΙ ΜΑΣ ΡΗΜΑΖΟΥΝ ΚΑΙΝΕ ΓΥΝΑΙΚΕΣ ΜΕ ΤΑ 4 ΠΑΙΔΙΑ ΤΟΥΣ ΑΓΚΑΛΙΑ! ΤΙ ΑΛΛΟ ΠΡΕΠΕΙ ΝΑ ΚΑΝΟΥΝ;

  • The developers who organise these fires, along with the people who start the fires, should be caught, and jalied for a life sentence. But Greece is so slow, so disorganised, by the time anything so simple is put into affect, the only trees left in Greece will be the ones planted in people's gardens.

  • Perhaps then, it would be more time-efficient if we were to catch them ourselves, tie them to a stake, and burn them alive in Syntagma square.

  • You're right, just continue with Greece's current pace - not doing anything at all, and borrowing 100's of millions of EUROS from the EU to aid the fire problem, then "losing" the money, never improving & pulling gormless facial expressions when people question Greece. The 2008 fires have started already, congratualtions Greece.
