Was Alexander the Great gay ?

i had a book that concentrates on the Greek military inherited by alexander from philip.it claims that not only was alexander not gay but he was not very sexual.he was interested in conquest.

Everything is true in this video. Parmenion sent Barsine to Alexander who became Alexander's lover. Barsine was Memnon's wife before Memnon's death. She lived in Syria as a widow and she was one of the most beautiful women. I don't think that Alexander the Great was a gay. This is my opinion.

Επομένως, ναι ο Αλέξανδρος ήταν αμφιφιλόφιλος. Φαίνεται και από το πόσο ελάχιστες ερωτικές περιπτίξεις είχε με γυναίκες και πόσο πολύ άργησε να αποκτείσει διάδοχο, ακόμα και χρόνια μετά τους γάμους του. Πολλές φορές ο ίδιος ο Αλέξανδρος αναφέρει πως θεωρεί τη σχέση του με τον Ηφαιστίωνα ταυτόσημη με τη σχέση Αχιλλέα-Πατρόκλου. Η οποία τον καιρό του Αλέξανδρου τουλάχιστον θεωρούνταν σίγουρα σχέση Εραστή-Ερωμένου. Στην αρχαία Ελλάδα δεν υπήρχαν ταμπού στις ερωτικές σχέσεις μεταξύ ανδρών. Αυτά τα ταμπού είναι ανατολικής προέλευσης και εισήχθησαν στην συνείδηση των Ελλήνων μέσω του Χριστιανισμού.

Για άλλη μια φορά αποδεικνύεσαι ημιμαθής και αμόρφωτος. Στην αρχαία Ελλάδα σχεδόν όλοι ήταν αμφιφιλόφιλοι. Ειδικά ο Μέγας Αλέξανδρος που είχε δάσκαλο τον Αριστοτέλη δεν υπάρχει καμία αμφιβολία ότι θα εφάρμοζε το δεσμό Εραστή-Ερωμένου με τον Πάτροκλο. Ο Αριστοτέλης θεωρούσε τις γυναίκες ημιτελείς άνδρες (μπορείς να φανταστείς πιο σημείο τους έλλειπε...) οπότε κατώτερα όντα από τους άντρες. Επομένως ανάξιες του έρωτα ενός άνδρα. Μόνο ως μέσα αναπαραγωγής κατά τον Αριστοτέλη χρησίμευαν οι γυναίκες.
