Yeah, Lulu looks great after 40 years but she Jazzed up the song and that is the wrong song to jazz up. To me, it looks like Lulu is showing off when she doesn't need to. It's a great song. This song should be sung in a sincere way, like originally in the movie soundtrack. Thumbs Down to American Idol but Thumbs Up to @sitarman61 for the effort to upload this video.

It always saddens me when people think they have better opinions on how songs should be sung by the artists who gave them the song in the first place. She can sing the song however she wants. A very heart warming classic movie. Sidney Poitier is a good actor..I watched the sequel to this part 2 which was released in 1996, as well the original and won't get tired watching over & over.

@MsLIKA53 - There was a lot of KIDS can learn from that movie.. how to survive on your own.. Each of Sidney Poitier Movies has something which is meaningful. For that reason I would suggest anyone to watch his movies.. especially "To Sir With Love" Great movie - naturally the music is great too!
