Agreed. After watching this movie, I was left with a new feeling. It wasn't fear exactly, but the entire film was gripping. I was anxious to find out what would happen next, but I couldn't live without watching it all the way through. A fantastic movie, without doubt.
That makes three of us. I agree that stop animation can be a very tedious process and that if you don't have the required patience then you are not cut out for it. It feels more real than a computerised animation, with Coraline and Nightmare Before Christmas being two exceptional examples of that argument. I wish Henry Selick will make more stop animation movies... hopefully based on a Neil Gaiman novel, in association with Tim Burton ^^
I cannot wait for this movie! It's not even because I'm a huge Selick and Gaiman fan (which I am), but I'm hoping to be a stop motion animator someday and this movie just makes my heart beat faster and stars appear in my eyes. Honesty, I started watching the behind the scenes videos back when you had to have a password to view them lol. The whole thing is simply beautiful. *heavy sigh* I will be first in line to get tickets for this.

That...background music...
Is it just me, or is that Twisted Metal Black-background-music-for-character-storyline.
Also, Henry Selick is an artistic genius.

I'm a huge fan of stop motion animation. It is truely an art form which I hope future generations will appreciate, and keep alive.

The book was WAY better then the movie. The movie looks totally different, but still good. (by good I mean it could go either way.)
