Alligators are shy and no problem. I was using the camera zoom or chasing them to get the footage. They prefer to be left alone. To see the route details visit realworldadventures(dot)com

Excellent video!!! I would like to maker this trip. Your video gives a very good overview of this trip. Congratulations!!! I've also 1 question: did you feel sometimes threatened by alligators ? ( you are very close to water in a canoe)

Cool video! Good thing you guys made it out without an incident (besides shivering me timbers).
I was out there Feb 2008 with a small party for 5 days and we hit a tremendous cold front with 50 knot winds and extremely high waves. Were able to stick with our schedule and make it to the inside when the weather turned bad.
The Everglades can be extremely dangerous and life threatening and I'm amazed more current day travelers haven't met their demise out there. But that's the allure!

Nice video, guys. I would have liked a little more detail, more commentary on what we are seeing, names of the birds, names of the campsites, etc.. Kind of hard to put ten days into tem minutes, but it can be done, and with more info...
