Man people are douchebags! Aside from the sound and framerate skips at the start it's still good. I don't know a thing about Dragon Age but this is something new: Elves usually are put in a position of superiority or seperatism placing them higher than humans or making them seem untouchable but here they're forced to be the pauper class and are forced to be the lowest class of laborer. Quite unusual.

@Silver1478 Well for one it's more realistic, at least in my opinion anyway. One problem I had with Oblivion was everyone got along too well. They had all these extremely different factions and there was no real conflict, except maybe with the imperials/Dark Elves/Nords thing. It just didn't really seem believable to me. Killfire23 makes a good point about the combat too.

They did make a human commoner. You were supposed to be the son of a farmer near lothering. In one of their playtrough at ostagar they used the hman commoner.

For unkown reasons (at least to me) he was cut out at the end.

Unfortunately, yes. It lets you continue to do any DLC you get, but I still find it kind of dumb.

No, significantly different. Oblivion gives more freedom, while this gives better story.

Oblivion is 1st person with 3rd person capability to manage one character, This is a 3rd person game allowing a party of 4+ (summons)

That being said, Oblivion has a vastly superior Graphics Engine than this, and like games preceding it, the power hunger does not justify for the mediocre graphics.

So exactly, in this here game, only a storyline quest is given, where in Oblivion, you have a large selection of what to do, like the freedom.

However, in this game no freedom is given, and you can only follow the main quest...

This game has side quests, however, they are very limited.

While the different races will give you different beginnings, it only really effects the first hour or so, after that, the story progresses in more or less the same manner.

With a game like DA:A that has so much dialogue and story on its own, walkthrough narration isn't necessary and sometimes distracting. Esp for this game, I prefer silent LPs. The only time I don't mind voiceovers is during fight scenes but even then the players tactics should be pretty obvious without needing explanation.

the one thing that always bugs me about RPG games is that your character never seems to speak. The only RPG i know of that doesnt do that is ME1 which was made by the same guys who made this game so i was expecting your main character to speak.

Well it depends if you liked Mass Effect (if you have ever played it). Its kind of like a combination of elder scrolls and mass effect. That is pretty much the best way I can describe it. The only thing I don't like about this game is the combat. Its just an awkward system from what I am used to. I would have done things a bit differently.
