I love how such a simple song can sound so beautiful. Pachelbel was a genius. If a person's music is still loved after this long no matter what kind of music you listen to you should at least respect the peice for being that enduring. I bet you most if not all of the modern music today will be forgotten when they are as old as this peice and this one will STILL be listened to and played

I remember KLOK-FM in San Francisco used to play this version back in the mid 1980's and every time they played it, I would call in and vote to have this song removed from its playlist. I was 17 at that time and I didn't expect anyone who was that age to like this song. I love the Trans-Siberain Orchestra's Christmas version of The Pachelbel Canon In D much better.

thank God after countless try of listening to different versions, finally found this one. MeadJohnsons came up with a CD of classical music for pregnant women supposedly to help make their babies attuned and be productive members of society. the tracks of that CD are all wonderful, i had it for almost 8 years now but maybe coz ive been listening it for that long it started to stop or jump.
