The Trouble with Mitten clips (suspenders clips)

Nice, you wear suspenders because a belt keeps slipping off, and then the suspenderds dont work. I dont wear them or havent seen them up close, but I thought some suspenders had something like a circular wire at the ends that connected to a "button" or something on the pants/jeans. Im not sore, if you have to put those buttons/rivets on your self though either.
