the stuped hoa didn't allow me to close my short sale... i negotiated 70% of the current balance....hoa dues are like personal loans, people be very carefull, hoa is just another burocratic to steal money from people... management companies play the paper of caring about your unit.. be smart, get together like the people of egypt and dont let hoa increase..
@dave4tampabay Dave, naturally if you have to choose between eating and paying your HOA's, you should go with the nourishment. There are many families and individuals that cannot afford their mortgage payment but can afford their HOA and living (food, water, etc) expenses. In those specific cases, the costs of continuing their HOA payments are significantly less than the costs of dealing with a lawsuit, having to pay those fees anyway, and adding on late payments.
