What happened to the ending of Resistance 2, where Earth got teleported or something? That had a lot of potential...and it seems like Resistance 3 is ignoring that?

@TheBrownestFalcon Earth was'n teleported. The ship just crashed somewhere in the dessert where Hale and Capeli got a good view of planets that were destroyed by some unknown force. The tower at 0:11 (Haven Tower?) might serve as an explanation for how and why it happened.

thats not a new tower but a weapons which the Chimera are using against Humanity, call the teraformer (or aleast its a terra former)

You know what? I felt the same as you guys.When I played Resistance2, in my first playthrough, I didn't really like it because it was very different from my beloved R:FoM. But when I played it the second time, I instantly fell in love with it because I excepted the changes. So now I love both R:FoM and R2. So give R2 another chance, and just except it for what it is. Think of it as a good thing. Each Resistance game is a whole different experience, thats why they're worth playing.

It's better than playing the same experience over and over again. For example CoD, where all the games literally feel the same. Think of the changes in the Resistance games a "good thing." Because it adds a different experience while putting you in the same world that you loved, from the first game.

@62cky4powerthirst THANK YOU. they took away the auger, arc charger, THE FUCKING CARBINE, the sniper, the grenades, they changed all the guns, there was no real flow to resistance 2, like, just no set style, the moving was fuckin weird... the maps were balls. it fucken made me sick to hear everyone speak of how great it all was. Resistance FOM is the best FPS ever in my opinion.
