  • Brother imraan,

Which year did you graduate from Indian embassy school. I am from the 86 batch.

Keep up the good work. We need more people like you.

    Ajaz

  • Wonderful. Thanks for posting. God bless Bro. Imran.

  • this is great, but out of sync, i hate when tha happens

  • I am actually Alhumdulillah asked many places to recite many conventions and events and programmes, and so far in the biggest event, most recently, infront of government officials i wore a suit, with a topi, and no one found that wrong, one qari said its better to dress sunnah style, but again this is also considered islamic dress, as long as u are convered, according to the islamic court of law.

  • Salam

brothers and sisters conversing on this "tie" topic. i would like to make it clear that there is nothing wrong with wearing a tie...and about dressing like the Prophet SAW, ofcoarse we should because its the sunnah, but the juba and shalwar kamees etc, are not the only islamic dresses. wat we wear in our everyday lives, pants n shirts, coat n ties, these are all also islamic dresses, mind you me that Rasul SAW said anything that covers ur body figure is an apporopriate dress.

    JazakAllah

  • Assalammualaikum ya Shaykha, can you give to verse in quran or hadith about the haram to wear a tie?

  • Wa'alaykum Aslaaam

Correction: I never said it was haraam...

  • بهشت ) با ( خارج ازدوشیزه هااجرامی کند

  • SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO what if is is in tie??????

    samina

  • Tie Represents a Cross if u are going to Recite holy Quran pls atleast take that filth off

  • well brother, I never heard of that, Allahu Alam if it's true or not. I went to IslamQA, (Sheikh Salih al-Munnajid), and here is the fatwa:

  • Question:

    "Assalmu Alikem

Can you tell me what is the ruling in wearing ties. some people say it is haram and others say no. Please help and Elaborate. Jazak Allah khir"

  • Answer:

    Praise be to Allaah.

The Muslim is supposed to be distinct from non-Muslims in his appearance and clothing, because this is what Islam says. Also, the Muslim should not wear anything that is the distinctive clothing of the kuffaar.

  • With regard to neckties, if a person can do without them, this is better, but if he has to wear them there is nothing wrong with that, in sha Allaah but he should make sure that they are not made of natural silk and that they do not have crosses or pictures of animate creatures on them. And Allaah knows best.

    Islam Q&A

    Sheikh Muhammed Salih Al-Munajjid

    ---

  • Of course, you make a good point brother, we SHOULD dress like Muslims, we should try to dress simliar to the Prophet, SAW and not imitate and adopt the dress of others, but let's keep in mind wearing a necktie isn't haraam, and furthermore we shouldn't attack a brother for wearing a necktie in such a fashion,

may Allah guide us all, ameen

  • Asalaam alaikum warahmatullahi wa barakatuh sister :)

JazakAllahu Khayrun for posting the video. Also, there are different types of sunnan of the Beloved Prophet (Peace be upon him): Those of which were due to culture, and those which are ways to be imitated. Was not the dress a cultural sunnan? For example, we wouldn't wear sandals in the snow?

  • I am amazed/shocked that this person would criticize brother Imraan for wearing a tie! Any clothes are Islamic as long as they are modest. Why do so many of us Muslims get into petty arguments when we have such huge challenges facing us?

  • Qari??? In A TIE !!! PLEASE

  • ...

  • Whats wrong with tie???

  • SalaamAlaikum, Sister thanks for posting the Interview ,SUBHANALLAH.

May ALLAH guide Us All, Ameen.

    May ALLAH bless you, Ameen.

    JAZAKALLAH KHAIR.

  • Sub'hanallah. Very nice effort. May Allah accept. May Allah give us tawfiq to come under Complete Obedience of Allah and Complete Sunnah of Nabi (S.)
