  • @Crisfromcal Funky Worm Ohio Players is where Cube got it from

  • @Crisfromcal Cube got it from Ohio Players Funky worm if you really would like to know

  • @Crisfromcal All So NWA used it in Dopeman

  • @DaManzMoney Cool, thanks for the info.

  • lol ghettobird

  • Korrekt

  • WORD

  • sick beat no matter if west or east made it

  • you wont be able to understan, the power of ALLAH !!

  • G.H.E.T.T.O B.I.R.D

  • this is soundtrack to Meance II Society??? who know?

  • @wojtass22 thats what i think

  • GEAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA

  • @rhymezgalore I think you might be talking about "Sacrifice" from the album livin' proof from 1995, I dont believe its an alien rather just the nutcrackers voice changed to a higher pitch

  • @gatman0 thanks so much bro . ur a tru master

  • so glad i found this me and me mates have been arguing for ages about the song at the start of menace II society isnt ghetto bird

  • @M1K3H3AL3Y09 the song at the beginning of Menace to society is definitely Ghetto Bird by Ice Cube its a west coast Movie WTF

  • Man i 4got bout dis shit!! yo real shit

  • you can build a FULL hiphop classic collection with just new york albums... you cant do that wit any other state.. new york IS and always WILL BE the birth place of hiphop.. kids nowadays act like its not

  • @Adrenaline969 Although I agree with you that NY is clearly the monumental hiphop state, you can't say that a classic hiphop compilation could not be created in any other state. Goddamn, Philly and the Bay Area could hold their own, just to name a few! Even Toronto has a deep history of quality Canadian hiphop, dating back to Maestro Wes Fresh and beyond! Can't convince me that NY is the only house of hiphop!

  • @bosman1988 no way that NY keeps the mvp for hip hop just as many people came outta cali and LA metro has half the population of NY metro also philly and boston rap i think is better than NY rap, there is definitely more good NY tracks though but i think thats cause of the population difference

  • @SUPPORTGOODMUSIC1003 I disagree. NY started and defined hiphop culture, so I'd say that qualifies as MVP in my books. But yeah man, Boston is definitely underrated when it comes to great rap. Shug, Virt, Casual, Guru, Eso, Edo, Krumb, etc. are all exceptionally talented MCs.

  • @Adrenaline969 It has a rich history in terms of Hip Hop, but that's not at all what it's like anymore unfortunately.

  • @Adrenaline969 Sound kinda racist dont you think ;]

  • Comment removed

  • @Adrenaline969 who gives a fuck! good music is everywhere now, as well as the bullshit they puttin out and always have been since hiphop started. thats how life is, for everything that comes out, there is always sum bullshit right next to it.

  • @Adrenaline969 I feel you

  • @Adrenaline969 real

  • @ramyah34 ,but sound like the West Coast!

  • i never said that the west coast isnt hot... they make good hiphop, as all coasts are capable...but you can never truely understand it, if you havent at least visited the south bronx, or harlem.. just the way it is.. after you visit, you'll understand

  • this song has a proper westcoast whistle to it

  • @M1K3H3AL3Y09

originally from ice cube ghetto bird

  • i know

this is what is at the start of menace II society i always though it was ghetto bird

  • that's cuz it's an ice cube beat

  • what is the problem? Hiphop is already in trouble nowadayz, we have to unite. otherwise, notinh will be rest of hiphop, and there is already a little rest of it

  • dooope

  • pete rock cl smooth - they reminisce over you.... NUFF SAID! LISTEN AND LEARN AND PAY RESPECT TO THE FATHERS OF UR SO CALLED "RAP" SCENE!!! NEW YORK!

  • this is why hiphop is the way it is nowadays...u youngins really need to learn

  • keep trying? bitch we wrnt trying shit faggot we got a hold of hip hop and perfected it west coast will always be on top Cali gangbang capital of the nation bitches YOU KEEP TRYING

  • exactly my point... stick to gangbangin... when it comes to hiphop, westcoast is nothing... you will NEVER understand hiphop untill you visited the south bronx... both ice t and dre understand, so i got respect for them, but the rest of you get the dick...

  • Comment removed

  • hiphop's history is in new york, sorry westcoasters, keep trying

  • this west coast east coast shit is getting old!!

wats the difference between them just where they live but music is all about u not where u live dumbasses!! even though the west is better! haha :)

  • whats the problem?... why even start an argument about it? hip hop started in the east, and we have memorials that will forever be here.... in 1000 years from now, when kids are reading history books, hip hop will be placed next to NEW YORK, nuff said... if you never took a ride on the subway, youll never understand hiphop.... let the west stick to the gang-life bullshit, and let new york stick to the intelligent poetry.. this version is better

  • Dope wit the West Coast beat

  • Fuck the east coast homie big bad motherfucking WEST COAST

  • haha cool it's Ice cube's Ghetto byrd

  • real shit from the street... RESPECT

  • i think they all sampled from a 1972 song called "funky worm" and performed by Ohio Players

  • Ice cube uses it on a song called ghetto bird

  • I like the snare from ghetto bird better. But both

    are still great.

  • In this album Group Home stepped up their game. Livin' Proof shines more for the beats whereas this album has the lyrics before the beats (which are all good).

  • it dont fit when east coast use whiny west coast beats like this, new york is meant to be dark minimal beats!

  • love this beat

  • This is Ice cube's Ghetto bird beat xD still this shit is hard

  • were werent thugs... we were surviving the streets.. shit was hard in the 80's and early 90's... these rappers these days dont know how good they have it.. respect..

  • up that dog, and it's not just rappers, it's all these punks who want to act poor and bite our styles, but don't know the hunger the pain, it's a joke. It aint about color anymore it's about money, and were still getting screwed, now it's by Rich hispanics and blacks, there kids pretend to be us. You see it all the time with B-boys rich kids who pay to learn, these guys look like a musical it's crazy. Grafiti also now these fools jock the innercity style, and make money while we serve time.

  • This definitely dropped before "Ghetto Bird"; these ni**as were just slept on, and in a damn near criminal fashion...

  • how can this have dropped before ice cube's when this was released in 1999?

    and cube's in 93?

but what doesnt make sense is how it's in menace 2 society (1993) if this was released in (1999).

unless it was made a whole 6 years earlier?????

  • I heard this way before 99 hommie, I used to ride to this shit in the mid 90's not 93 though but way before 99 dog.

  • group, L.O.T.U.G, eazy, cube, bush babees, t, nine, wu, them keepin me alive.

  • what is L.O.T.U.G. ?

  • Lords of the underground, they was the ones that dropped that joint Chief Rocka.

  • It`s always easy to make the song better than the original is.

But orginal is like it`s said original and that on stays the best to me...this one`s sounds dope but the one from Ice Cube sounds doper.

  • DOPE!!!!!!

  • still "stupid mtf" is number 1

  • GROUP HOME KILLED THAT BEAT, THATS THEY SHIT NOW... Ghetto Bird is a classic but this shit is harder.

  • it's like the east coast version of : Ice Cube-Ghetto Bird

  • Ghetto Bird is the opening song to Menace II Scoiety

  • yeah...did group home stole the beat or had they don it before ice cube ?

  • cube had to have it first because this cd came out inlike 2000 or 1999

  • You have no clue what you are talking about. Menace 2 Society was released in ´93 or ´94
