Actually, EC use to be a real live dance club waaaay back when. It then became part of Citytv when the building was bought. And don't worry, I'm working on a proposal to bring EC back at MuchMusic. It's a work in progress & I'm in touch with them, but Dance, Freestyle & House music has not been in Toronto for nearly a decade.

No, it was an actual TV show. It was good too since it was the only TV show in the world dedicated to Dance Music. Then in late 90's the thing sucked.
