  • How do you protect against fakes on the second-hand market? I mean, if I were to buy one used, what will the jeweler look for? Will he be able to tell by opening the back of the movement?

Also, did you smash that fake with a hammer? :)

  • I´d rather have a real Casio than a fake anything on my wrist. What´s the point? Most of my colleagues have Breitlings, I have the Aerospace myself and trust me, it´s worth every damn penny. Anyone I know who owns a quality watch will agree that the precision and craftmanship is worth the financial stretch.

  • To everyone who like to have a Breitling one day...like me I rare had a chance to even see a replica not talking about owning one. So the time came and I bought a real genuine Breitling . People? What a wonderfull and cool thing owning an OEM Breitling! It shines you can say sparkles or blinks and you recognize it from miles that this Breitling is real. Looked at the B01 today at the jeweler with leatherband they run just 4.5k euros...save and you get there dont burn money on reps!

  • @alensvsix Completely Agree.

  • Comment removed

  • @Alohalakay Are you deaf and partially blind? This video is entitled "replica" and the commentator is repeatedly praising the quality of this replica (fake).

  • @BoyBangla I didn't even read it,I just saw the watch and wrote too fast sorry,by the way I have a collector idem from the 50ths in gold/steel and blue

  • it's better than the original and much cheaper - so don't hesitate !

  • So if this replica is so god damn good, and nearly identical to the real thing, why should someone shell out thousands of dollars more to buy the real thing..?

  • @XavierJ61 Because the movement is far superior, manufacturing and quality control are clearly superior (even if Breitling replicas have looked much better in the last year), long-term reliability and fit and finish are far better, you don't have to worry about maintenance in the future, you're supporting the company which has actually spent time, money and resources innovating and designing the product, you don't have to worry about someone picking it as a fake, it's actually waterproof..

  • If you put this on and people watching not likely very close into it because its on your arm right? Then they might probably think its real.

But how about fake certificate? What can you tell us about them? Im really looking into buying second hands but very worried for fake ones! As seen on this video! Can certificate be faked? (probably yes) unless like ulysse nardin? Where you can call them and check if its real or not right?

  • @freethaitv Probably, but there are not really any fake certificates out there. I'm sure someone could fake it, however.

  • @freethaitv This is a late answer and you´ve probably already got your watch, if so, congrats. If not, then my advice is simply this. If you intend to buy a second hand watch make absolutely sure you have it checked out by an authorized dealer before payment is made if possible. Pay little or no attention to certificates or receits The watch is what matters in the end.

  • Hi, have to say one thing that i've noticed you always miss... the luminesence on the bezel, on the fakes they never have a separate 'O' ring of metal framing the dot of luminesence. Check it out and compare to orig.

Tag Aquagraph, Breitling Avenger Seawolf Titanium... wouldn't mind a fake for daily wear too

  • I am looking at a breitling, I have looked at literally hundreds, but one of them the date portion was reverse black and white, meaning the font was white, background was black, scared me off instantly, was I paranoid or caught something there?

  • Where can I get a fake like that?

    Hit me up on Facebook

Verbal Ahmed. anyone who can tell me where I can get one of those fakes?

  • One of the easiest ways to spot most Evolution fakes is that on most of them the subdials are crowded toward the center of the watch, and the spacing between them is off. This is especially obvious on the models with the arabic numerals, where the cutoffs on the numbers from the subdials at the 10 and 11 are nowhere near what is shown on the real thing. It is a little harder to spot with the batons, though.

  • where did you get? how much? could you sell me this one?

  • As a Breitling enthusiast, the visual accuracy of these fakes is scary. The most telling thing is that the B on the side of the bezel is so crudely stamped. It is delicately etched on the real thing.

  • @ademyers You are right. I looked for that on my BCE that I just got this past november 8.....Went the A.D. route for a little peace of mind however.

  • I love the video I have one question about that fake, was there a point at the bottom of the anchor on the second hand? I found that to be a good indicator on alot of fakes I've seen.

  • Breitlingsdource, how/where are Breitling fakes manufactured? If counterfeiters can make such accurate copies of watches with very complicated an intricate dials, cases and bracelets, they must have access to quality manufacturing plants. You can make 'em in your garden.

  • How do you open the back to check?

  • The way watch manufactures slap in mass produced movements made in switzerland or not).Posh watches are a con really not even that accurate

  • Maybe you can help me with this breitlingsource, because I may be wrong here. But isn't a tell-tell giveaway(at least as far as Breitling is concerned) is that all authentic Breitlings sapphire crystal are not only anti-reflective on both sides, but are all non-domed(flat).

  • Authentic Breitling watches use domed sapphire crystals on most of their models... so this would not be an indicator of authenticity..

  • aaaah... I see... I stand corrected.... Thank you for the clarification breitlingsource.

  • Fake is Fake... You can cheat others, but inside you still have that FAKE feeling...

  • Which website did you get it from

  • On a real Breitling, is the second hand supposed to move one second at a time, or sweep continuously through the second?

  • Both. It has nothing to do with the brand, but the movement. Usually (but not always) Quartz watches do not sweep, mechanical watches sweep.

  • does the fake have a anti reflective coating?

  • not at all, a fake is nothing more than just that. I own reps and gens both for comparative reasons only. I don't condone or support counterfeiting. some folks asked about where to get info on reps and the sites mentioned will help those who don't want to get burned. If someone want to spend their money on a rep they will. It will always be no more than a poser watch, but with the right seller at least they will get what they buy, a look-alike Chinese copy.

    peace

  • I have one similar, the Chronomat B01 and it has the obvious tell-tale wrong date wheel font. These are made in factories in china and some are quite good quality. It all depends on who assembles it. If the person building it is pissed off or having a bad day, that piece will likely be junk. However over the last few years the reps have gotten much better. The guys selling them want you to buy more and some go out of their way to make sure you are happy. Check with RWI or RWG these guys are good

  • If i didn't know better I would think you were promoting theft of intellectual property and promotion of child labor.

  • I just recently bought a rep BCE graphite v3 with updated datewheel. I have seen many people asking where 2 purchace these products. The answer is not on holidays as they are the cheap ones which break in a couple of secounds. To buy the ones which AD's cant tell if it is fake, join RWI forums ( Replica Watch Info). They helped me pick the correct model with all the updates. The forum has many dealers who can sell you these watches. The watch above you are looking at 250D. Come and ask some Q's

  • Another thing I'd mention is the serial numbers. Many times they all have the same serial number. I mistakenly purchased a fake (i'll never buy after market again) and the serial for my Chrono Evolution was 2073888. Apparently that number is used very often.

  • the back is abit like the real thig,. but u can still tell from the back easyliy but still very gd quality

  • a-replicawatch. com

    Cheap place for replica watches

  • wow this a very cool uhr

  • does the dot on the bezel luminate?

  • on the real it does idk about the fake

very good eye with spotting that fake, I replayed it while looking at my new one to see the differences, small but distinct differences

  • oh....go the TIMEX range of high quality time pieces...

  • i hv the limited edition of it that looks much better has a brown face sounds ugly but awsome.. if u buy this type of thing u hv look after it else buy cheap 1 learn it thn buy this is my advice but gr8 watch

  • My brother as this Replica, everybody thinks it's real even the AD,great watch.

  • He doesn't want to admit it but he accidentally switched the watches around and reviewed the real Breitling thinking it was the replica. He's just sitting back and hope no one is enough of an expert to notice.

  • Have you ever tested for water resistance? they always get that part wrong. all in all nice reviews.

  • You can buy these on Italy just for about 20 euros.

They are all automatic and every meter works .

  • for 20euros you ll get a cheap chinese replica, a good swiss can go for 500 euros

  • Don't be silly, 20 Euros will buy you Canal st quality BCE, the Ultimate BCE goes for US$250-300, with ETA7750 over $1K

  • i have a crappy 20 euro breitling watch, looks good on distance and so, but it's far from a real one. I'm gonna buy a sweet nixon watch soon though

  • You are not even worth my time. Go to the forums if you actually wanna know anything.. Jerk? Joker? Grow up.

  • Yeah, I agree copperhead's a douche. damn, i think i'm going to pull the trigger and get meself an ultimate BCE :) gorgeous watch!

  • So who makes these things? Where they come from?

Amazing how close they get to the real thing, I wonder how many people there are out there who have a fake and don't even know it. You have to be a pro to notice the fake.

  • @breitlingsource. Copperhead is just mad that his fake dosen't look as good as the one you kindly showed us. Thanks for the vid. I'm about to pick up my first Breitling (will be a chronomat evo in fact)and this vid will help me not get taken(if I decide to go grey market). I may just save up the extra few hundred it would take to go to an authorized dealer anyway...

  • Bad news for you breitlingsource, the evo replica has an updated date font now,i have the replica and everybody thinks it's real even my AD.

  • Why is that bad news for me? Most AD's know nothing.. give it to your AD's watchmaker and he'll know its fake.

  • where did you get it mate ?

  • The part about stamping not being able to show though to the other side is false. i am looking at my REAL band and there is a stamp mark. The watch was bought at a breitling dealer so i belive you are off on this, other than that good job !

  • Thanks! I don't remember how I worded it but with real Breitlings the stamping is often seen through the other side, but it is not as obvious as with the fake. The fake has stamping that is extremely visible.. and when compared with a real Ling you can see the difference.

  • To those who are amazed already, this is not even the best rep out there in the market. I've seen better

  • @beastboyrock where can I buy top replica?? has anyone got any trusted websites????

  • hi nice fake really cool rep...can you tell me the name of the company i can get one from?really cool rep...can you tell

  • perfect clones

  • where did you get this fake?

  • How much did the fake cost?

  • That is scary! I own a 2-tone Evo myself!

  • The "B" eched in the side of the bezel , is that only on the replica chronamat evoloution, or does the real watch have that same "B" there too ????????? need help !

  • yah the real one has it too

  • how much was it?????

  • nice rep

  • DO ONE ON THE AIRWOLF!

  • wow... great review...

  • Thanks very much, perhaps you should do a side by side comparison with a real one next time, that would be really helpful and more informative.

  • Good suggestion, unfortunatley i dont have the fake anymore and can't do that. Next time I have one with me I will do that.

  • hi nice fake really cool rep...can you tell me the name of the company i can get one from?

  • He wont tell you even though hes GOD when it comes to buying fakes!
