  • I think the more we get away from those 1.5 mile ovals the better. This series needs to return to the early 1990's ways to be successful and exciting.

  • You're right and they need to race at places like Loudon, Gateway and Miluakee.

  • I agree.i'mbrazilian and i wouldlove a racehere but the essence of Indy is fast ovals in america! that can't change

  • Let me add my 2 cents into this. I do not like IRL running more road courses than Ovels. I think that Road Courses are great, but IRL should stay mainly Ovel based. As for racing in other countries, thats great, but dont turn IRL into a Formula one. Try to keep it mainly in North America.

  • Dude, it's not IRL anymore. It's IndyCar.

    IRL was shit.

  • it will always be IRL to me, and nothing that had the Indy 500 was shit.

  • I think it should be the same number of ovals and roads. 8 - 8 or 9 - 9.

  • @91basket That's why CART / Champcar was a much much better series as far as racing and excitement went than IRL - If you want turn left, turn left, turn left, turn left racing - watch Nascar. CART/Champcar was a far more entertaining series than F1 - more racing & less politics. But i have to say that the Indycar Series has improved with the addition of road & street courses and less ovals.
