I think the more we get away from those 1.5 mile ovals the better. This series needs to return to the early 1990's ways to be successful and exciting.
Let me add my 2 cents into this. I do not like IRL running more road courses than Ovels. I think that Road Courses are great, but IRL should stay mainly Ovel based. As for racing in other countries, thats great, but dont turn IRL into a Formula one. Try to keep it mainly in North America.
@91basket That's why CART / Champcar was a much much better series as far as racing and excitement went than IRL - If you want turn left, turn left, turn left, turn left racing - watch Nascar. CART/Champcar was a far more entertaining series than F1 - more racing & less politics. But i have to say that the Indycar Series has improved with the addition of road & street courses and less ovals.

You're right and they need to race at places like Loudon, Gateway and Miluakee.
