  • Wow , awesome 2 minutes of bass solo!

  • O melhor do mundo!

  • a bass icon anywhere, anytime

  • So gifted

  • Wow!!!! Between him, Victor Wooten, Brian Bromberg, and Canadian fretless master Alain Caron. They are what I call bass gods. Wow!!! 

  • This is THE MAN!

  • Victor Wooten. Thats all i have to say

  • @Gospelbassboy are you kidding me...

  • Abe's hands are just blessed!! I love his "rasgueado" technique!! Him and Victor Wooten are just plain awesome, but nevertheless, Abe is my favorite bassist!!

  • i’m very like it

  • The work of a master. Laboriel is one of the greats.

  • can someone explain to me why his tone is so shitty on every single video i've seen? clacka clacka clacka just aint working for me...

  • @yeebeascurvydawg It all depends on the setting and what bass he uses. Have you heard his more recent stuff from wyn bass?

  • @andyfen0 nope. got a link?

  • @yeebeascurvydawg Status basses sound clacky, yuck

  • @kinshasaAPP They don't have to. I have a Status Empathy 5 (cocobolo). I depends on how you set the eq. Mine has a bright boost/normal/cut switch + bass, treble, sweep, pan and volume. I usually play my Carvin SB5000 though, great bass.

  • @yeebeascurvydawg look up "Wyn Guitars NAMM Show HD promo" on youtube

  • @andyfen0 And you're absolutely right. It depends on what he wanted to achieve at that time. Remember he can be the master of regular deep toned bass playing as well

  • @yeebeascurvydawg Oh no! You again? When will you learn to respect and appreciate the talent and musicianship of Mr Abraham Laboriel - the greatest bassist in the whole world (in my humble opinion of course).

  • @yeebeascurvydawg My nemesis! When will you learn to polish your language? '... why his tone is so ****** on every video I've seen?'. How will you aspire to greatness you deliberately make unsavoury comments about it. Don't be surprised if greatness eludes you because you can't appreciate it.

  • @miiiiiiikatos

What do you know of greatness, fool. The highest thing you aspire to become is the sweat dripping off of Laboriels nutsack...

  • @yeebeascurvydawg I feel sorry for you.

  • @miiiiiiikatos

You should feel sorry for yourself. I know I do.

  • Abe is one of the most electrifying bass player out there!

  • @joe700700 That's true, even though yeebeascurvydawg will find fault.

  • MASS DEL MAESTROOO XINGAOOO !!!

  • wow.....im alredy 14 years old...but there's so many thing to know to become one of him..........:>thats y God is amizing.......thanks lord 4 the talent

  • yo creo q no recibe tanto reconocimiento por ser mexicano, fuera gringo seria otra cosa....

  • debo admitir que el buen Abe es el Petrucci en el bajo, de lo mejor

  • he must be very proud of his son ABE, because is a great drum player who currently plays for SIR PAUL MACCA

  • @edddiux his son must be proud of who is his father he has plaed with the best muscians in jazz world!

  • @edddiux HELL YEAH!

  • Só ele mesmo, maravilha................

  • Un día de estos va a quedar ahí el cabrón?

  • I would like to see him playing with buckethead....

  • the best bassist that ever lived...EVER!!!

  • Grande Abraham Laboriel, Dios te bendiga, y bendiga toda obra de tus manos!!!...

  • viva el rey victor wooten :D

  • Absolutely one of the best of all time, and perhaps the bassest that should be the most appreciated. He really does not receive enough praise from he press.

    You the man Abe!!

  • @bob4247 To me he's a living bass treasure whose live should be documented and archived for posterity - videos, basses, interviews, techniques, biography, etc. You should read the disparagaing and denigrating remarks by yeebeascurvydawg about Mr Abraham Laboriel.

  • @miiiiiiikatos There are those that can and those who can't. If they can't, then they bitch. It mostly amounts to putting in the time to practice and study the music. The very best have worked very hard to make what they do look easy. I say if you're a player and you're not as good as say Abe, put the time in and you may get close to his greatness. It is a much better use of ones time that just ripping down greatness because you are too lazy to work to get to that level.

  • he's still the man!!

  • No uno de los mejores pero si EL MEJOR!

  • Abe, como siempre genial. La ecualización del video, de la cámara o del el lugar; PESIMA!

Demasiados agudos y muy pocos BAJOS... Saludos.

  • he will always be my favorite bass player.

  • @TheKennybmusic And mine too!

  • Amazing!

  • @ajisam2003 Where is the Mel O DEE
