My favorite holiday, I hate my neighborhood they don't decorate. I do right in their face, I noticed they don't have problems taking our candy. >.< This is such a great holiday tho. ;)

@thegeneralblack1 it is not celebrating your own death, but people who died... formme it is not to be sad and gloomy. I am from Poland and we don't have Halloween, insted we have the so called All Saints Day - the saddest day of the year, people are sad, they are mourning those who died, they are really really depressed at times.. what for? would our loved ones who died want us to be sad? no I don;t think so. I think that HAlloween is a great idea, much better than ASD in Poland.

@thegeneralblack1 Because to pagans, death is a part of the cycle of birth, death, and rebirth. Death represent new beginnings. Pagans are very optimistic people, unlike christians. We believe that life is beautiful, and it is not under the mercy of a male deity full of anger. Christianity is a religion of fear, pessimism, and giving up who you are for "salvation"

@Althalos90 How are Christians(in general not individually) pessimistic? We believe that all things work out for the good. And we believe that death, to those whom lived for Christ, is a new beginning. One without an end where we live with our God. And Jehovah isnt a God full of anger! He IS love! And for him all things were made. But Im not forcing anything on you. If you're pagan you have every right to be, I even have an ex that practiced neo-paganism, and he was a great person.

And I have other friends, of other religions.. Point is, Im accepting unlike alot of "Christians" these days. We're to love everyone and it makes me sad with how some act..
