I was on this train too - 3rd bogey from the engine.
Saw several scenes of that day which remain etched in mind, including human reaction when faced with personal and impersonal adversity. The cops and locals did an outstanding job.
The gentlemen in the berth across me passed away from a head injury due to lack of medical equipment and attention.
Thot I would retain the ticket, but threw it out because I began to associate it only with negativity, which was a mistake.
Those in power step down and let someone make this right. Do the necessary maintenance and fire those who do the covering~up and blatant lying, after. This is an atrocity, which unfortunately, is ongoing.
It is sad this one. But, at least you made it out alive and showed the world the horrors of a crash. This must be taken up as a lesson for authorities to be responsible
i think they died for no applicable reason the track which the train fell off is one of the busiest and only track between banglore and hyderabad. It is terrible this society seriously needs more money to build more and better tracks untill then people will fall dying there are lot of arguments but the basic thing is lack of funds and third world nation. Go to brazil you find similar, China similar, Mexico similar. Well it is developing world
this is terrible guys. politicians are squandering the nation. let the young and dynamic join the government and clean up all the dirty work. It's time india.
I worked on Indian railway for 6 years and deceided to quit. Every shift was a suicide mission. Lack of respect for equipment was the major problem. Now I am with CP what a hell of a difference.
I appreciate your concern for the victims. I dont know when people will realize and wake up to the fact that for a better life we need to think about the society and then about our selfish self. The person who is responsible for this lack of maintenance should be brought to justice, but I know, nothing will happen as it never happens. It is shameful for everyone of us who boasts of high spiritual values of being part of such a society.

Heads must roll for this, both the assholes who
decided to let the track go to shit to save money, and those who lied and tried to cover it up!
