  • scientists please create a solution, i so much hope brain healing will be possible not far from now cause my relative suffers consoquences caused by a lack of oxygen during the time when she was a baby in her pregnant mother

  • it mimics the principle of by-pass graft surgery!

  • its 2011, so whats the development yet?? or it was just fox news style news??

  • thumbs up if your watching this in 2405, and still waiting for eternal life.

  • Unless people are going to control how many babies they keep making, there is no need to make people live even longer. We're going to take up room on the planet from other living beings and drain the Earth's resources.

  • @KazHopa Ummm.... I don't know where you get the idea that we NEED money to make food, clothes, houses, cars, or anything we make. Money is a flim flam, a way of controlling peope. Money is not used to grow trees, pick fruits, run cloth through a loom, and pour metal into molds. Money is a virtual representation of worth, but it isn't actually 'worth' anything.

"but money's value is set by gold!" That doesn't matter. We think gold is valuable because it shines. How stupid is that? "oh SHINY!"

  • I can use telepathy, I am interesting to take part in research on it. I can do brain to brain talk all the time and I can transmit voice and video 100% correct on distance up to few kilometer.

  • NOT GOOD ENOUGH!! I WANT MORE!! WHAT A JIP!! I WANNA KNOW WHEN THE NEXT CLINICAL TRIAL IS AND THE INS AND OUTS OF EVERYTHING!!

  • how do they do this. Is it possible to rebuild nerve systems. It;s amazing

  • Wow Christ sure knew what he was doing when he designed the Humans. This stuff makes evolution look like a fairytale compared with real science

  • This is so cool! Even though it was in 2006... I wonder what they found out now :)

  • ...example*

  • whoa THEY CURED BLINDNESS!

  • we are at the beginning of becoming the god we have created...

we will create AI with in the human brain..

we wil be the tumor in the univers...

  • (0:20) that guy had some wicked cotton mouth

  • This is an extreme evolutionary jump for mankind. Now, if we can start teaching our kids not to speak nor think like drakio99, then we just might be able to leave a better world for our grandchildren to live in because they will respect it better.

  • fuck being healthy and takeing care of myself ill just wait 30 years for nanotechnology to do it for me

  • lol

  • to right.

  • bridge to ever-lasting life.....

  • We are finally learning from nature and how ti works.

  • I love love LOVE these kinds of developments. Its so wonderful, so exciting to see our technology come around like this. Eventually technology will be able to save, enhance and improve the lives of people world wide. It'll be a trickle down effect, where said technologies will firstly be available on the high end, but as cheaper technology becomes available, it'll become available to all people. Wonderful I tell you!

  • @Xeletoph you are living in fairy tale land our giverment wont alow this unless it can make tons and tons of money

  • @locknes2008 do you think they have a choice?

  • @Xeletoph So true...it's going to happen sooner than we think, too! If you get a chance check out my channel, you might find something that interests you. ~ S

  • @MindfulFuture

Yep, kind of like in Ray K's book we're he repeatedly mentions exponential increases in computing along with equally exponential increases in bio-tech, nano-tech, and AI. Initially, the advances start off small but as technologically builds on itself, the speed of development gets faster and faster until BOOM..then, we're all saying "boy, that happened much faster than I expected." Look at the processing power of today's computers and the ever shrinking size of electronics as an

  • @ihacksowhat Yeah, man...you're preachin' to the choir! Cheers :) ~ S

  • @Xeletoph and then there can be even more of us to Deplete Eatrhs natrual resources ! Woo Hoo! Go humans!

  • @Xeletoph and scratch that, actually. Money's value isn't even BASED on a gold standard any more - it hasn't for nearly 100 years! You know what gives money value these days? How much of it is in circulation! And then the federal reserve of course controls how much worthless paper is circulating. Not only does every bill get made with NOTHING backing it, but every bill has interest attached to it which of course the people have to pay BACK to the banks, thus maintaining the cyclical system.

  • tiene pinta a un cerebro!!!!!!!!!jajaj

    just like a brain?

    an stupid brain!!!!!!!!!

  • What the hell are you saying? Perhaps you need brain bridges.... gay bitch.

  • this also needs to be studied for children with Cerebal Palsy. My son was born with CP and they said he suffered some kind of an injury in-vitro, meaning he might have had an intro-uterine stroke during developement. I'm looking forward to seeing how it can be applied to kids with CP.

  • possible applications for alzhiemers?

  • doubt it, alzheimers is associated with plaques and fibrotic tissue inside the neurons, it could possibly help with the degeneration of neural pathways or dendrites caused by the plaque, but not the neurofibrosis inside the neurons.

  • this is incredible

  • wonderful! now i can play as much football and take as much ecstacy as i want without fear of brain trauma. lol jk

  • im no nigger, cuntscab

  • this is the future not robotic parts, nano machines are mechanical and organic. there microscopic proteins that have a purpose.

  • who does not like science it is a bullshit asshole

  • Who ever does not like science is a dumb creationist.

  • I have been investing in this for years!

  • We thank our technology!

  • This is amazing!

  • awesome video, very interesting.

  • jibbie actualy makes alot of sense people... these days we are all so reactive, and not proactive enough, trying to find a cure for this and that, rather than preventing it in the first place, but it is great that advances in medical science like this one are happening today

  • I recently had a stroke and the words they use in the diagnosis is Cardio-vascular ACCIDENT. Sure, we could all lead a more healthy life but some are more prone to the accident than others,

  • Apparently Jibbie believes that strokes are the fault of the victim, like cancer - or heart disease? Jibbie49 is going to be sadly shocked when he is felled by a disease that only "fat lazy" people get.

Hopefully he will have the compassionate care of someone far more sympathetic than he is, as opposed to people who berate him for not prtfprming superstitious exercises designed to inoculate him against illness.

  • Oh DON'T blame Jibbie49 Ignorence is bliss for him.

He implies that onlt Fat people have strokes.

Wonder how he explains my friend Outsider who was as fit as 1 can be, yet at the age of 30 had a massive stroke and damn near died but today has to fight everyday just to have a glimps of a normal life?

Jibbie49 You've got much to learn about life, I hope you never have to endure something like a stroke If you do I hope others are more sympatetic to your plight

  • I like how this is categorized under diy.

  • I agree with Jibbie49.

  • Preventing the stroke in the first place is much more sensible than trying some unreal nanotechnique to repair the damage.

  • That's a brilliant comment. And for those who have already had a stroke, do you have something equally insightful?

  • could you suggest some "real technique" for "preventing stroke in the first place"?

  • Yes, following Jack LaLanne who will be 93 next month and who is in excellant health because he took care of his body. PREVENTION is much more sensible. Our fat, lazy Americans already think taking a pill from some doctor is going to do it all for them, which is not the case.

  • And people who are accident victoms benifit from Jack's methods.... um, how?

  • Of course, but you can't necessarily prevent 100% of all strokes, no matter what you do. Why not advance both prevention and treatment? It's not like you can't do both.

  • I worked as a nurse in rehab and a nursing home, so I've cared for stroke patients. I'm not against treatment. Science is helpful, but at some point we will just not be able to PAY for this unbelieveable cost. That is my point as to why people need to take responsibility for diet and exercise. We have an obesity epidemic in this country.

  • The US?

  • Yes, America.
