You are correct. The motor was built way before the EJ257 was introduced.

Nice car there. This car has been orange since early 03. Its been thru so many "rebirths". vf30, vf22, nitrous, sr55 and now rotated. Not to mention a complete fuel system (with fuelcell) and cage! 10s are just around the corner...just need to get the time off work to get the car to the dam strip!

Hey i am not knocking the wrx, i know it can beat a v-8 even a pretty built one. I just like American muscle. Gives me a hard on. I had a couple imports, and my brother is into wrx's... i know what they can do.. still nothing like 450 ft lbs torque at 2500 rpm of a small block chevy.
